Comment:

Nice guy as a person, disaster as a teacher. Goes off on tangents all the time. Seems to over-complicate the simple, and gloss over the complicated. Doesn't like questions from students, tells you he will get to that later and never does. Really likes to lecture, hates questions. Worse one on one. Frustrating, very frustrating.

Nice guy, assignments weren't too hard. The subject was somewhat interesting. Too much small-group work, though. He gave an extra-credit opportunity and did't give a due date once. I did it and turned it in, and he marked it late and wouldn't give me all the points. That was kind of weird. But he's overall a pretty good professor.

In the beginning, this professor appeared to be very organized, but as the term progressed, his verbal instructions, the syllabus and directions on Moodle all contained discrepancies. Many students were confused and the we jumped around from topic to topic, which made for a frustrating term. Perhaps he should rely LESS on the TA.

Excellent teacher, organized, provides lots of extra credit that didn't just give you points, but really helped you stay focused and committed to coming to each class. I wish he taught 202 as well. Only negative I can say is, I did notice him to get cranky and a tad bit impatient towards the end, expected though-so can't really ding him for that.

Paul is awesome. Period. I've taken every course I can from him because he makes class so fun. Even a very boring subject can be so much fun with him. Definitely take all the classes you can with him. And he hands out extra credit like it's candy, so it's easy to get an A.

He knows the material really well, and he's a really good teacher. Be sure and know how to relate the material to case studies, and everyday examples. Talks a lot about all his tons of travel.
