Cool guy. Lecture heavy but not necessarily a bad thing. Easy A for a class where you wont be stressed out about at all. He does teach you a thing or two that help you in the real world of politics. Will probably take a different class of his later on. Chill class with a chill professor, here you go.

Easiest class ever you only have 2 test one midterm and one final he tells you what youre going to write about. One group project and the rest he just reads to you the books. Take him easy A

Comment:

This class is very lecture heavy. You will spend an hour and a half listening to this professor go on about his views. He only gives 3 quizzes and the lowest grade is dropped. There is a paper on a movie that you get full credit for completing. The textbook is online and expensive ($150 about). I never went to class and still passed. Easy class.

Comment:

Long heavy lectures for each class so watch out. The good thing is that he lets you take exams outside of class. He makes us buy his book and every exam is based on his book .About 3 exams maybe? and one movie essay along with the final exam taken in class. Lowest test score gets dropped and we had 20 extra credit points for the whole semester.

Be ready to pay $59 or around there on his online course. Easy A class, don't even need to show up. Just read packet that's it. His teaching is boring and always goes off topic so I started to realize this is some bs class. Overall, I learned nothing from taking his class.

sooooo boring but his class was worth it bc theres no hw and a lot of extra credit. 3 exams and 1 paper to write, but he drops the lowest score. I finished the class with over 100% and I didnt even do that great on the exams

Its SO hard to show up bc he just lectures the whole time, hardest hour & a half of my life. Exams are online and a lot of the questions have to do with the book he wrote, so you have to buy it. 4 exams, 1 paper, and extra credit options (write half a page of feedback on his CNN bits) doesnt usually take attendance, could pass with an A

Very easy class. Showed up maybe half the semester and passed with an A. He gives many extra credit opportunities and there is little to no homework. One paper required, the rest are extra credit. All tests are online and can be done from home. Gives study guide packet that has most test answers, however a lot of the questions do come from textbook

He's generally a nice guy unless you disagree with him. His extra credit is summarizing him on CNN interviews. He runs for office every year so that annoyed me. His lectures are sleep inducing and he doesn't control class participation effectively. He let the same guy go on for 10 minutes almost every class. Easy A if you study the packet and read.

He's very VERY political and his expensive personal book that he requires you read is extremely liberal. It just felt really inappropriate in a classroom setting to only present one opinion. I stopped attending after about 4 classes after hearing him belittling students of different opinions. I did nearly everything online without a problem.

Peter Mathews is the best. Everything he talks about is relevant. I feel way more knowledgeable about the system and how it affects me. Take this guy's class, you'll have a good time.

Comment:

Daily lectures based on the textbook and the book he wrote. He gives you a packet of notes to follow along with during the lecture. Easy class if you have some common sense about politics. He tends to get off track and it turns into a lecture about his beliefs or will give a fact of the republican party followed by a sarcastic comment.

Comment:

Encourages "discussion" (which turns into arguments he'll always win). Prideful & ignores other people's opinions if he doesn't agree with them. He talks about whatever he feels like, so just read the note packet & you'll pass the exams. Take advantage of the extra credit in class (you have to be there for it). Show up, listen, read note packet A

Summer Class: It's a 200 point system: test 50, final 50, paper 50; 3 tests, a final, one paper. He drops one of the lowest grade on the first three tests. Extra credit is offered 4 times (total is 20), but you must attend class in order to know what it is. He doesn't really teach the stuff on test, you MUST read the books and note packet.

He gives his 2 cents on politics and which he uses data to back up anything he claims. 100% I'll take again. I am now a more educated voter.
