Just not a good experience learning with him at all. Most of his class is dated and autocad is super secififed to a degree that no student will ever really need.

Its the first true hard engineering course I took which made me study, work on outside of the classroom, and made my brain hurt in a good way. I do feel like I will use this knowledge in the work force. Also, best part is the final project is INDIVIDUAL!!! So you get to watch the group project slackers freak out at the end of the year and suffer.

He is a very helpful professor, just ask him and he will assist. He gives plenty of homework but that will help you to learn the material better. Start his assignments as soon as possible and ask if there is something that you don't understand. Also, pay attention in his lectures. He covers a lot of material so you will fall behind if you skip.

Completed project and portfolio today and submitted early. He said it looks like an "A". My biggest complaint about this course is the class size and lack of motivation from other students. I really dont know how some of these people got in here. Its easy material if you study and practice autocad outside of class.

Teaches at a fast pace, but he knows what he's talking about. He gives you an extra day to finish an assignment if you need it. Has a good sense of humor. Would recommend, great professor.

The course covers a lot of material and it teaches you great skills for use later in the year. Although don't skip class and do the homework ASAP!!! FYI - This is a real college course and was a big wake up for a few students who though it was going to be easy like high school

Defiantly a teacher designed to weed out the Freshman. So Wake-up! You signed up for a College Engineering school this is not high school anymore. The course has a lot of work and if you don't ask questions the instructors will keep moving through the material. Watch out for the Semester Project start early cause the due date will sneak up on you!!

he is slow and boring, very condescending and makes students who don't finish in adequate time feel insecure. If it wasn't for my Graphic Communication background i would probably be lost and not passing.

Comment:

Teaches the course in an outdated and useless manner. He uses only AutoCAD Classic. Obsesses over useless tweeks to the setup, this does make the screen more clear yet much more confusing for beginners. The courses are extremely tedious. (Ex. He teaches 3D drawing using classic instead of 3D essentials) Only useful for architects!!!

Talks really low. Extremely boring. Tends to ignore girls in the class. He moves on from examples as soon as one person is done. Gives a lot of work and no time to do it in class. ALWAYS go to class and start the final project early. Guess he's a good starter teacher in the Engineering department to weed out the Freshmen early.

You can not miss a class. If you miss a class you will be lost on the next day. He is very picky at drawings. You are nit suppose to go over the line and it has to be straight. Know AutoCad becuase there will be drawings on there. he will say z enter all enter enter. he will say pick pick pick. e enter a enter. He talks low

He gives a lot of work and he's not the most animated guy ever. He's picky but honestly.. this is an engineering program. If he wasn't he wouldn't be doing his job. He'll help you no matter what and cares about his students. Don't expect this course to be a breeze but do expect to be a better draftsman once you're done with it.

I really like this teacher. Sometimes he would talk fast, but if you ever have a question you can just ask. I think he is a very easy going guy and he can be very funny. I like that fact that you work the entire time in class and you are never bored.
