Comment:

Lots of material to memorize, but the concepts weren't too difficult. The midterm and the final required very detailed explanations and she looked for specific key words. The midterm looked ridiculously similar to previous midterms, so just study from them and you will do well. Final is similar format. Overall, a great course!

Comment:

I thought the class was interesting. She is a very effective teacher. Although I must say the notes given were bad because it's disorganized. She writes in point form, but the points don't connect. Need to sort it out by your own. Not so bad final and midterm but LOTS of detail required!

Hard exams.. requires lots details.. Overall, a very interesting course if you like pathogenesis. The average was around 70.. so it's possible to do well~ =)

Her office hours are not helpful at all, she "hovers" over you while you sit, making you feel very insignificant, and her responses make you feel even worse. But she is very knowledgable, though her class notes are not detailed enough

Did not like this prof at all. Very hard midterm expecting too much detail that is sometimes not even given in her notes. Not helpful during office hours. Pretty cocky prof.

Its straight Her Note->Overhead->Your Note. Her notes is 99% the same every year. If you can get the note, you don't need the lecture. Not a bad person, but she is Not a very helpful/nice person. Treat teaching strickly as a JOB, so probably won't help students at all outside of class and her office hour.

Comment:

Very nice person, notes understandable, course interesting, teaching format good, understandable concepts in notes overall, has good sense of humour. Midterm tough and conceptual, exam fairly tough and detailed but do-able if studied hard. Overall, I give two thumbs up for this course and prof! :)

Notes Notes Notes... copy copy copy, exam = essay essay essay. Boring, not helpful in learning. Almost the same as give you notes, you go study yourself. If notes online, not need attend class.
