Stay away from this nutty professor; run as fast as you can in the other direction. Way too much work. Harsh and unfair grading. He is an extremely unreasonable professor. Do yourself the favor and take the class somewhere else with a different professor.

I had a good experience online with this prof. He does give an extreme amount of work, but it was very well structured and you knew what was expected. I also had to fight for the grade I deserved in the class at the end. But all in all I learned a great deal.

He is not so bad. I had to fight for the grade i deserved, but i learned a lot in his class. he conducts his class in a constructivist model which is student driven. my class had a lot of really intelligent people in it so my experience with him was pleasant. Prof. Orozco is cool, you just have to be on point with him.

Just say No! For those students, like myself, who learned about this website too late here are a few survival suggestions. 1.Never miss class. It will be held against you. 2.Never disagree with him. It will also be held against you. 3.Never leave class without getting you name on the board at least once. 4.Pray 5.Don't except to learn anything!

I have never in my life taken a class with such a bad teacher....wait he does not teach ....he makes you talk and counts how many times you talk in class. Watch your GPA drop!

Put it this way...his class could be the last class I need to graduate and I would go somewhere else and transfer the credits in. There's no way in this world I would suject myself to his torture. He doesn't grade on quality of work...he grades on how many times your name appears on the boards--even if you write just one lame sentence!

Determined to prove something to someone, but who?? Makes Mercy look really bad; I've had people I don't even know approach me and tell me how much they HATED that professor! He let one classmate threaten another, then seemed intent on letting the threats continue. Awful!! Grades by crystal ball!

NO...DON'T DO IT. SAVE YOURSELF. He provides way too much work. Most of it busy work that quite frankly is a waste of time. Wait until someone else is teaching the course. He grades on the number of times you respond to others instead of the quality of your work. It's not worth it...wait until someone else is teaching the class. Trust me!

If I can give any Mercy student advice -- DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!! Unless, ofcourse, you want to be overworked (to no end) and have your gpa crushed because he has something to prove.
