I HIGHLY recommend Ostrowski! After a semester with Oertley and his terrible teaching styles, Ostrowski was a breath of fresh air. I have very much enjoyed this class, and I don't even really like accounting!

In an 8-wk. Summer course & a very difficult subj., serious learning happened. Very organized and consistent, powerful lecturer, knows the subject, gets all students involved & holds their interest. Had him for both Accounting 120 and Accounting 121, and he definitely knows his stuff. Tests can be quite tricky, and you definitely have to read the questions word-for-word, or they'll get you. Definitely recommend.

Ralph covers almost 100% of the book, but his lectures are easily understandable and he can be hilarious at times. Says, "you guys got the general feel?" about 4-5 times per day. We kept a running total. You get to drop a test score with perfect attendance, but attendace is mandatory. Easy enough to pass by studying online practice tests.

Great teacher! I really enjoyed his classes. He tought a lot based on what he knew and has done! He expects a lot out of his students but helps them acheive thier goals. He is a hard teacher and his tests aren't easy but if you study for them you will pass.

If you are wanting to know who to take for accounting 120 or 121,take ostrowski if you want the easier teacher, but take swanson if you actually want to learn something. I have had both and ostrowski is definitely easier. Just do the practice tests to study for the exams and you will do fine. Swanson requires a lot more studying.

Very good teacher. He is very nice as long as you attend class and he sees that you try. He is always willing to help students who are lost or don't understand.
