Unclear with grading. Takes his online class way to seriously. He requires a group project with about 5 people in each group. For an online class the massive group project was unpleasant. The semester is over and he didn't grade 3 of my assignments and I do not know why I received the grade I did.

Comment:
Lectures are deathly boring and unhelpful, whole class is basically just group projects and if your group is bad you're stuck doing all the work. Clicker quizzes every week that are graded for correctness, no guidelines or instructions given out for any assignment including the semester long report that was 20 pages.

Took him for Marketing online. He kept in regular contact with us to help us stay on top of deadlines, and he made himself readily available for any questions we had along the way. He gives students discretion in which chapter case studies to do, which I thought was a nice choice to have. Take him

Comment:
I took this class online yet there was a group project. It was nearly impossible to get everyone together to work on this & there was no clear instruction given about the expectations. When I met with him in his office hours, he was 20 min late to our meeting, he insulted me and degraded me to the point of tears. I have never been treated so poorly

Ravi is a very caring and intelligent professor. Unclear expectations and grading for the group reports, but he curves majorly and you will end with an A. The material is not difficult, and he allows open textbooks for iClicker quizzes. The class is just very unstructured and I didn't retain much information. Lectures are boring but he means well.

This professor is a tough grader and not a very great online instructor. Not too much work, but I barely learned anything.

He is such a nice guy and really wants his students to do well! Open note/laptop quizzes and two exams that he curves ALOT and a group project. He makes the class very easy, I would highly recommend him!

2 tests, iclicker quizzes, and the rest is group work which included 3 SPSS reports, a final paper, and research proposal. Get a good group! He's a nice guy but not a good teacher. He is very unclear and does not teach the material well. The tests are impossible but he curves majorly.

Impossible to get a clear answer when asking questions. Little structure, regularly changed previously communicated expectations, grading criteria, assignments, etc. which makes the class very confusing. Still not certain what was graded and what was for "fun". Strong knowledge of industry, puts marketing as the absolute best above everything!

Good guy, passionate about the material and enjoys helping students. Teaches you how to use SPSS which will add to your resume. Many group projects and one large group project. Get a good group and you're set. Also does iclicker quizzes during class with open computer and book and a couple exams on the same material.

Online class was very easy! Straight forward on what is expected of you. Class is split into segments and there are 3 chapters per segment with corresponding quizzes in which you can sip 2 WHOLE segments. Straight from the book information. A+ online course, not sure how in class goes.

We had a small class of only 7 students so we got to know Ravi and he was kind, helpful and personable. He was a fair grader and was always willing to be very helpful with projects and lax with due dates. Great professor!

He made this class way easier than I thought it was going to be. He is very kind and super helpful and a very easy grader. I don't understand why his ratings are so low. My whole class really loved him and the class.

All over the place. Workload was extremely high and most projects were frustrating. Tests fairly hard but graded with curve. Extremely nice guy though, and more than willing to compromise with the class on due dates and such, even killed an entire project based on class feedback. Wouldn't recommend, but wouldn't go out of my way to avoid either.

This by far is the biggest cluster of confusion. The professor takes and interesting subject then puts it in a blender, adds all the old condiments in the fridge and hits the puree button. Terrible. Professor is clueless- avoid him if at all possible.

Totally waste of time folks. The class was overloaded, overworked anti-learning atmosphere which took all the fun out of marketing and made it into dryest subject u could imagine. Don't take this course under him. Henke and Schramm are much better.

Ok I registered for this class with the professor listed as TBD. IN HINDSIGHT WOULD DROP I found the feedback on this guy to be accurate. My largest gripe by far is the workload as compared to the knowledge gained. I had Henky for MKT560 and learned a lot. I was hoping for a similar experience with this class, but did not get it.

Not an easy class. Boring class, very boring. Alot of tedious work. The final is the hardest one you will ever see but fortunately the curve on it is crazy!! You will get a 30% on the final and it will end up being a "B" haha

This class is not that bad. Half the losers below probably didn't even try. Put in a small effort atleast and get a 3.0.Only does attendance sometimes, not always like the previous rating implies.Projects graded easy, curve on tests and dry lectures. He puts too much info in lecturesbutucantakeaway
