i hate math, and i took college algebra in high school. this shouldnt have been difficult for me but it was extremely difficult. i had to take two finals just to pass the class. i worked in his departments office and hes a good person, just not a good professor. and i feel as though he knew his stuff before but hes losing it with age.

I'm not a math person to begin with, but this class was exceptionally hard for me. On the other hand I did pass the class and he was ver kind and understanding about my issues with math.On the other hand, I think his teaching days are over and retirement should be looked into.

One of the best math teachers ever, and he is good with dealing with random stupid comments and quetion. The break he gives in class is really helpful as well, and he cares about his students success, and not just in the class.

I had Shepard for CALC I. He was very helpful and willing to help students understand material. He didn't just lecture from the book either, he used a lot of different texts and supplementary materials for his lecture. He's a very nice guy, too -- fair and reasonable.
