He was a really good teacher, made class interesting and funny. However he moves kind of fast when teaching and it's easy to get confused. He explains it in a way that makes it easier, but if you aren't working yourself at home for hours you won't do good. You basically have to teach a lot of it to yourself so that part sucks.

Took stats with this professor. He teaches the material thoroughly, and uses several teaching methods. He is, however, somewhat of a monster. If you get a question wrong, he will make fun of you extensively. One time I watched the clock while he mocked a student, and it was ten minutes of a fifty minute class.

This professor doesn't know what he's doing. I dont think he is capable of teaching calculus. Due to his instincts a lot of students have dropped the class. The semester started with 50 students then throughout mid semester there were a only 8 left. I do not recommend him for calculus.

I took his class in spring and overall the class is very easy. If you do not apply yourself or study you will not pass. He makes it very easy for his students to pass his class. In fact he hands you literally all the answers to the homework questions and steps on how to do them. Only reason you wont pass his class is because you literally gave up.

You have to teach yourself everything otherwise you will not survive in this class, many people failed/dropped out. He does not care about this subject he said it himself. He does not teach in class but sometimes he'll try. Get someone else for this subject if you are bad at math. Hw is easy and tests are alright(at least they're short). Good luck!

Prepare before each lecture, paying attention during class, do relevant homework probs to understand and go beyond his lectures, you will Ace his test. His grading is fair rewarding those who put extra work. He is cool and cares abt teaching . His tests are super fun, but no joke. Many who dont do above will fail. One of the best Math Prof.

Took his 5 week MATH121 (Geometry) class over the summer. Required MyMathLab purchase for homework and tests. Lecture quality was terrible, fixated on only a handful of problems and most talks devolved into other unrelated topics. You will have to teach yourself through the homework and self-study. 3 tests, 1 final, and 12 homework assignments.

He's a very upfront and blunt guy. Seeing as how this is LA people might not be too fond of that but I found it quite refreshing. He makes it pretty clear that his job isn't to spoon feed you the information but rather to elaborate on the concepts that are talked about in the book and explain them in a more palatable manner if you are confused.

Professor Badalian is an AMAZING professor! He is LACCs charm and any college is more than lucky to have him. Hes innovative and uses excel to teach the class, hes funny as hell and he genuinely cares for his students and wants them to pass. Need I say more? Youre in college so YES you have to study and YES you have to attend class.

Prof Badalian was one of the worst teachers I ever had. He does not car nor teach anything about the subject. He wants you to do 90% of the work which is reading the book all the time. He doesn't go over any of the theorems/postulates. He does not take his class and students seriously, and students in his class are confused most of the time. BAD!!!

Horrible. Right before the first exam, he breezes in and belittles the class and eats up 40 minutes of our 2 hour class by doing so; when he hands out the 16 question exam, we are left with less than 1.5 hrs to complete and he just leaves. Lied about what would be on the exam and what was needed to study for it. Won't answer emails, or answer Q's.

Horrible. Disappointing. I have a Bachelor's Degree and took Stats for a pre requisite for graduate school. I have never seen a worse professor. He is not an actual educator, and takes advantage of teaching at a community college that is too tired and broke to hire actual teachers who teach. AVOID like the plague.

I had Raymond years ago for a math class before transferring to a top University. I can remember a certain fondness because he would crack jokes, making the class more interesting, but I have since taken classes with teachers who can be funny and care. Ultimately, he doesn't care, and he is a womanizer and it shows. As a female, he is inappropriate

I took prof. badalian for 115, he was a pretty chill professor however he never taught not once we would do homework all the time and if you had a question he would make you ask his assistant . his grading was fair, his test were pretty difficult but since the teacher assistant graded the test she would give you points for trying

Badalian has made me love math, let alone stats, just b/c of who he is & how he teaches. He cracks jokes in class to reduce the tenseness, & that's a key factor in learning. He literally breaks the subject down & makes it much easier, & no textbook necessary. Anyone who has left any bad comments, you're all bitter haters of this genuinely kind man

Raymond is a ROCKSTAR! This is by far the best stats course at LACC. He uses MS Excel and I promise you this program is invaluable when it comes to stats. This guy is an Excel Jedi! I'm now at CSUN and use everything he taught me. The bad reviews are a bunch of Narnia crybabies. This is college, STUDY and ATTEND CLASS!! Do I really need to say that

He is very specific, and helpful. If you have questions and somethings confusing you just ask him and he will answer your question. He is very funny as well but a little sarcastic. He will keep you on your toes which makes you work even harder! If you get the chance, take his class!
