Just do the assignments and simulations in class. Ignore his lecture as it is basically a messy version of the assignments. He is a great guy just not very helpful. The test ARE the simulations! Practise those and you'll be fine.

CSIS 1280, Douglas College Rhyon is a nice enough guy but unless you're coming into this class with no experience with HTML, you can learn more in 5 minutes on Google than you will 2 hours sitting in on a lecture. They're not well prepared and he often goes on unrelated tangents. Quizzes so far aren't practical either, mostly theory. Easy grade.

Rhyon is a nice guy and he can is quiet and helpful but thats only when he isn't staring at his computer. Bottom line I would not take a course with him again, went from a A to a C student because of his extreme exams that were more of an english class than computers. Most of the time his assignments didn't work and he didnt know what he's teaching

this teacher won t teach much if your fast at applying the VB knowledge then good for you if not too bad. he also acts as you could say immature. I bet ya the highest education he has is probably the vcc ITS certifcate. outside of VCC he would not survive
