He teachers pretty fast in the class. He does so many notes and it is hard to understand what he actually teaching. I do better in my SI class versus him. Make sure you do MyMathLab as well. He is not very good. I don't recommend him at all.

Professor Crumpler teaches very fast. I took his class 2 semesters in a row and failed both times. Test study guides were extremely different from the actual tests.

He moves very fast, and when he's finished explaining you're so busy trying to write down what he's writing you cant even process what just happened to know if you have a question! Doesn't curve anything, doesn't give second chances, does not give extra credit except for end of semester but very hard to get all the points. Hard to access.

Mr. Crumpler is a nice person, but his teaching style is pretty ineffective. I'm taking this class for the second time and am now switching majors because of how difficult and quick this class moves. He gives note outlines but often skips the majority of examples. Tests are grueling. Don't take his class if you want to stay sane in college.

I was already not so hot at math and he did not help. He moves VERY fast in his lectures and does not explain in great detail. The test were completely different that the review sheet. Majority of the class (roughly 40) did not stay the entire class. I, myself, barely passed the class so I would highly tell you not to get him.

Alright, Mr. Crumpler is a real nice guy, and you can tell he loves what he does, but he teaches at the speed of LIGHT. As soon as he finishes a problem he immediately erases it and moves on while I'm still trying to copy down. Only if you give 100% attention you may not be confused but issa L either way. Tests are nightmares. Just don't do it.

His lectures are not good. My roommates math teacher posted their notes online and all I would get was a piece of paper with examples. Must go to classes to learn it

I'm honestly surprised he has this low of a rating. I'm taking him currently in the 6-week summer course. If you don't pass, it's your own fault. It's difficult because of the material, but he clearly/thoroughly explains all problems, gives multiple examples and makes sure there are no questions. Nice guy, just pay attention and you will do fine.

Quizzes are fairly easy, but dont count towards much of your grade :( Tests are extremely hard (because I have test anxiety) and are a big chunk of your grade. He answers questions very well and gets to the point. Very well spoken and funny man. Study guides are SUPER helpful. Don't miss class, you will regret it. P.S. I suck at math.

Great teacher and he never has trouble solving any problems. The major issues are that he teaches EXTREMELY fast and I had trouble keeping up with the lectures. As I was allowing myself to process problem #1 he was already on problem #4. The material is simple but his tests are HARD!!! I repeated with another teacher and got a B+

This class was hard for me but I'm not interested in math that much. Crumpler goes through his lectures fast and you will get lost if you're not paying attention. Tutor is recommended when in this course.

This professor is a very nice person; however, he is HORRIBLE at teaching. I studied a lot and went to tutoring and did not pass his tests. He makes it very hard to pass. He also gives out study guides that looks nothing like his tests or quizzes. He talks very fast when teaching so it is hard to understand him. I would not recommend him to anyone.

This teacher is horrible, he is a nice man but doesn't know how to teach. He tries his hardest to make the class as hard as possible. He explains well, but MyMathLab and the notes never match up to the quizzes or test. Do not take this class, if you're not good a math.

Hardest class ever. College algebra is not meant to be difficult since it is a gen ed and I took a supplemental instruction with this course. nice teacher, just not a class to take if you are not an excellent math student.

If you're not strong in math, DO NOT TAKE. Very fast, and the extra credit is meant for you to fail.

He teaches entirely to fast , and it's a new lesson everyday. The lectures get confusing when he teaches three sections in one day. I would not take it again with him.

DO NOT TAKE. He lectures too fast, and is very hard to understand. Every time I got out of his class I had to reteach myself everything he taught. His tests are really and he does not give extra credit if his life depended on it. So do yourself a favor and don't take his class, you'll thank me later.
