Comment:

Hes that type of teacher that is alright. Hes funny and doesnt grade that hard. He aspects the class to read the article that he assigns. If you can do that then youll be alright for the entire semester. The essays are not hard but not easy at the same time. Laziness was my issue. FYI, you need to ask him what your grade is.

Very good English 101 teacher. Good Professor to take when you start college. Approachable and very nice guy. Three essays for the whole semester. Not too hard. Just do your work and you'll be ok.

Professor Dongell is very lenient and understanding. He lets students out of class early. He doesnt grade hard on essays. Keep up with your reading because he will randomly quiz but nothing too hard. Not too many homework. He gives he time to write an essay.

I took him for an 8-week. Very easy, just do keep up with the reading and the essay you will have no problem taking him. He sometimes cut class early. He gives feedback on essays although his penmanship is off he will explain what's what on the essay. Definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to take Eng 101 or Eng 103 without much difficulty.

This professor is very laid back I took him for an 8 week class. Super EASY. Do the reading and the essays and you will be fine. He has BAD penmanship and constantly BABBLES . But overall easy class.

We had three major essays, two books to read, some articles in between, and a group project, all of which were relatively easy. This class is pretty laid back, and the novel that we read was really interesting. He also gives detailed and helpful feedback on your essays (although he has a doctor's handwriting).

I took him for Eng 101. He was a good, easy-going professor. I learned plenty & his assignments were interesting. You must keep up with the reading because he quizzes you. The longest paper he assigned was 7 pages. You will do group projects. He doesn't give enough feedback. He doesn't use Blackboard and he cut class short a lot of times.

Would definitely recommend this teacher! He focuses a lot on Shakespeare and assigns little homework. You HAVE to keep up with the reading since he puts you in groups in class and asks the class to summarize the section that was assigned. He's so funny and easy-going. He gives one group project but its really simple!

The amount of work was understandable. Not too much but you should stay organized with your reading. There will be lots of it along with a couple pop quizzes. Take him if you like writing. Dongell is a good professor and leaves a lot of room for you to write about what you want. This goes for his group presentation at the end of the course as well.

His class is very easy not too much work being asked for. Be ready to read, because he does quiz you on the book and the chapters. He usually let's you know when you have a quiz. Writing is involved but it's bareable. Robert dongell is a great professor

Professor is super chill. Took him for english 60 and had total of 14 journals thst needed to be typed up but only a page long 3 papers and a book to read. Read the book because he does give quizzes but book is usually a good book. Also one group project that you have to do a power point for. Would of taking him for English 101 bUt he didnt have

He's really a fair grader, a big plus for an English teacher. If you pay attention in class and do READING, you will pass. Put a little effort to it and you can get a B without a problem. Not easy A, not like reviews you read before. You have to study and got a good writing skill to get an A in his class. But I do recommend him for everyone.

Probably the greatest English teacher I have ever had. I didn't do 2 of the 3 essays and didn't bother showing up on the last day so i missed the final exam and I still got a C. As long as your show up to class and be involved he'll pass you and won't be a jerk like most teacher. Wish I could roll one with him one day! Prof. Dongell is the truth!

He's so nice. take his class seriously adn you will find writing is both easy and interesting. his topics are related to you so it's like you're expressing own emotion. Books are extremely helpful too. Highly recommend!
