Good Things: Extremely easy, tests are every other week and open note with extra credit. Lowest test score I ever got was 15/15, highest was 20/15. Puts all the powerpoints on CANVAS, so you don't need to go to class. 5 minute assignments every other week. Bad Things: Very boring lectures everyday Would recommend for non art majors

Honestly one of my least favorite classes. Lectures were really really boring and it was hard to pay attention. Every day was the same as the last and it got old really quick. Attendance is not mandatory; by the end of the year only 10 out of 50 person class showed up. Just do the tests and projects and you'll pass.

Roger is a great teacher! He is very passionate about art and loves to share his information with others. His tests are easy once you understand his grading methods and his lectures are always interesting. Definitely reccommnded to take him for this GECR requirement!

Art in the Humanities was the easiest and most interesting class I took at EWU. If you don't find art in the humanities interesting this class will be very boring. I took it in high school so I already knew a lot coming into this class. His tests are easy if you go to class.

This class was easy. No book, he has 5 projects due and you get the points if you turn them in regardless if they suck. 5 or so tests, that 'increasingly' get harder, but all had 5 points extra credit on them. Easy 4.0. He likes what hes doing, but sometimes get distracted and doesn't know how to use technology fully.

Incidentally, the first section of the class was a joke. There wasn't a single day that he didn't make some foolish mistake. But if you want an easy grade, just show up and pay a little bit of attention to the lecture. Do not take the class if you want to actually learn something, though.

He makes it up as he goes along. I don't think he's graded anything we've turned in all year. The class is really easy and I don't think anyone will fail it, but if you can't handle the weirdness, you should probably sit this one out.
