DG is an amazing professor. Please take her class, she will influence your life in a positive way. Most loving and compassionate person I have met. Her class is a piece of cake and she even brings cup cakes! ;)

easy course, easy "A" if all assignments are done. strays from syllabus due dates a lot. assignments: 1 "about me" presentation & paper. 4-ish video reflections. 1 peer teaching group project. 1 final project. tutor a foster child. has been deeply affected by past situations in her life, causes her to get emotional often.

Professor DG, great teacher. Class is pretty easy. Attend class, do 2-pg reflection papers on the videos you watch at home (about 4-5), 1 personal history paper, 1 final project (presentation/paper). Need textbook for peer teaching on one chapter ONLY. Must participate, mainly sharing about yourself. Easy A with snacks!

Dr. DG is wonderful. One of the best professors ive had yet. She is very passionate about Multicultural studies, she offers a lot of interesting stories and great insight. Overall her class was great, learned a lot, and im glad i took it with her.

Comment:

Professor DG is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. Class consisted of potlucks and food brought in every night...VERY relaxed atmosphere. She takes the "if you do it on time you get full credit" approach and offers plenty of extra credit so this class should be an easy A for anyone who puts forth a little effort. Lots of movies and projects.

Extremely interesting. Really makes you think! Fairly easy but you still learn a ton. She maintained a relaxed environment when learning could occur - we took turns bringing in food each week. I would definitely reccommend this professor.

Easy A! Hard to understand at times. Felt like she didn't care about our class, because she couldn't be there all the time. Always complaining about her life and problems. Start working on your service learning project ASAP, because she wasn't very helpful with that.

Easy class!! Will get an A if you are there and do the projects, which are easy!!! Don't need to read the books, never used them! Very compassionate toward her students and does like to cry alot during class! Kind of boring class, but have to take it!! Have fun!

Now that I'm a teacher I look back and I can see the value of her classes. At the time I took them I was certain that I didn't learn a thing except that she likes to eat. A beautiful human being and an incredible role model.

Comment:

She has a strong accent so she's sometimes hard to understand however her class is extremely easy. The beginning of the semester she was really fun, however the end of the semester her lectures were quite boring. Overall I would highly recomend her.
