What a wonderful teacher! He really cares about the students and is really helpful when it comes to the subject matter. His lectures are very liberal and sprinkled with real life applications of economics. He made ECON 1A and 1B great experiences in how a serious class can be informative and fun at the same time. Too bad that he's retiring after this semester!

Arslan is the Best teacher out there. Too bad this will be his last semester teaching. I got an A on the first test, a C on the second and he told me if i got an A on the finals, i would get an A for the class. EASY A. you'll have to be pretty dumb to get a C or worst in his class. peace

His class is very interesting. He goes off topic though alot talking about his life and how rich he is. He gives like only 3 tests which are essays. He tells you exactly how he wants you to answer. He gives you it step by step. And he grades your essay on a curve, by the best score in the class. He gives Cs or better.

he has some pluses and minuses..He doesnt take attendance,he teaches from his real life experience class is fun etc BUT it is very hard to get an A...i ve never gotten a grade other than A's and B's but i got a C from his class.So beware.the reason it is hard is he goes off topic and u need to answer the questions from the book(they are take home)

hes a good guy and he knows what he is talking about. if your having trouble he will help you and he even let me have an easier question for one of the tests. the only bad thing is that he goes off topic alot and he always talks about how rich he is but other than that, hes a cool guy.. just when he tells you to read the book, read the summarys

Professor Arslan is a great teacher. He knows so much about real world experience and the subject of economics. You'll learn a lot from this professor, so take him. There are 3 exams during the duration of the class. In addition, depending on the time and positioning of the class, he let us take home an exam. All you have to do is take good notes.

Prof Arslan is a great teacher. He is very helpful explains econ with real life experiences. He is very approachable and will assist you with anything you want and need to know. There are only 3 written exams, 2 of them he let us take home and write. Take him, he's great!

Russ is the most awesome teacher ever. He has made his classes so easy. Take notes, be there, and talk to him before and after class and he will open up a world of opportunities to you.
