First and foremost, difficult to understand. Class is difficult and more math intensive than other sections. Unclear about due dates, especially in terms of online work. Score to get an A is set low, but still extremely difficult to reach.

Hassani's arguably one of the best professors in the physics department but this class is HARD. It was nothing for the average test scores to be in the 40s-50s. Still, he's REALLY smart, and he knows how to explain things so they make sense. He's just a great guy.

Sadri is a great teacher who is more than interested in the topic and who explains the topic in an interesting way. He doesn't baby you, but is more than willing to help. Little text boom use, but if you don't pay attention or show up, you will be lost.

His English was excellent and clear. He seemed interested in the material (well, he wrote the course). Due dates for many assignments were often unclear. He didn't remind students of due dates. He didn't keep up with online postings or announcements. The topic itself is just boring.

This class was really difficult. Material was very dry and his office hours were minimal. I'm pretty sure he didn't know anyone's name in the class. The tutors in the lab were useless. I had to rely on other physics profs to help me study and get through this class.

Dr. Hassani is the best teacher ever. He always kept the class entertaining. His slideshows are amazing and hilarious and there's never a dull moment with this guy. I mean, he wrote the textbook. He's genius, and he's super nice. You'll love him. Such an awesome guy.

Best professor I've had. Has a thick accent, but generally understandable. Class is difficult, but he will stop and explain anything you don't get. He is always ready to help you should you ask. I had no background in physics or math beyond Algebra II, but I passed with a B+. His material is hard, but he really does help. Learned a lot.

Impossible! The material goes way over everyone's head, his grading scale is incredibly curved but over half the class still manages to get lower than 50%. He's a nice guy and he's funny; he's probably even a genius but he's not the best at teaching. This class is damn near impossible. DO NOT TAKE HIM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

He really did have a great sense of humor and he always did his best to help. He is a little difficult to understand at times, but if you took physics in high school, you should be fine. If you ever have any troubles he's always willing to help. I cannot overstate how nice this man is. I don't enjoy physics, but he made the gen ed enjoyable.

Absolutely my favorite teacher this semester - he's got a fantastic sense of humor, is friendly and approachable, and makes the material interesting. Most of the grade comes from mallard quizzes which you get 5 tries to complete and are actually kind of fun, and he's been known to post "How to" guides for some of them. Great guy, great class. :)

WORST TEACHER EVER! I got an A in HS physics, and am an overall A student in college. I went to tutoring sessions 3 days a week and still got a C in his class with his huge curve. He is incredibly boring and even worse he wrote the book so it's no help. This is the worst teacher I have had. AVOID HIM!

I loved this class. He is such a funny teacher, and he wrote the book, so if you actually read it really helps with lecture and tests. Labs are an easy 5 points. Tests can be a bit difficult becasue they're not all formulas, but when needed, he gives all the formulas for tests/quizzes.

i would not recommend taking this class with this professor. Terrible, he goes through notes really fast, and half of them do not even make sense. I get a feeling he thinks we understand "know" this stuff already, when in reality we dont. I do not recommend him for phy 102. go to class to get clicker and labs help ur grade a lot!

great guy. i loved the way he taught the class. easy to understand and funny if you really pay attention. taking notes is a must and i suggest doing all of the in class exercises, they help when it comes to test time. and the labs are really interesting when you get to the more hands on stuff. i would recommend him for anyone!

I hate physics a lot, but he definately made it interesting. He did a lot of examples and made sure you understood what was going on. He tried to make class interesting and was funny sometimes. He's a really good teacher and the class is easy I'd take him again!
