Difficult to get a hold of. This includes email and out of class meetings. Lectures are heavy and require you to follow along on your own computer. Heavy criteria regardings exams, assignments, and projects. He's nice but can be extremley rude. He's very hands off when it comes to helping students.

he is a tough professor. all he do just hockey and sports rants. he is crazy fan of hockey. some times he goes beyond the topic and cant cover all the topic, but his home works and exams are very detailed, which is difficult to get good marks in his home works and exams . if you are taking for web development , i would not recommend this teacher

He is not organized and sometimes he went away from the topic ,although I get a A but it is very difficult to get A or even pass in his class. There is so much material that he cant cover in one lecture and he goes at a very fast pace that you cant catch him up. So think twice to take his class if your major not is IT related. I would not recomm

Sal is hands down the best coding professor I've ever had! He presents very clear lectures explaining how each part of the code connects within a webpage. Sal is approachable, and gives feedback to improve design. He is passionate about teaching and will gladly spend extra time with any coding-related questions.

Very clear with expectations, teaches the material exceptionally well. Friendly, very helpful. Respects your time as much as his own. He really enjoys conversation, and can sometimes go off topic, but it's easy to get him back on track. Assignments are easy - pay attention, practice, work at it. Definitely among the best professors I've ever had!

He assumes you will not certain parts of coding just after he shows it once. Is willing to help and stay after class with you but can get on rants with other students before helping you. These rants are mostly about hockey.

One of the best teachers I have had while being at DePaul so far! At first, I took this class for my scientific lab inquiry because science courses such as chemistry and physics are not my strong suit. The lectures should not even be called lectures because he makes them so fun and interesting with his humor and he is easily relatable!

Sal's nice, but he has way too much information to cover and not enough time to do it, see seem to always be rushing through the material. I'll admit it makes it difficult for someone with less experience to catch on, especially if you aren't form the IAM department, it's tough. But he's nice and his assignments are pretty straight forward..
