In her class,text book is important(The text book is reallllly good). If you study hard with the text book, you are going to get a good mark(even A). Her teching style is good but somtimes seems unclear. And why I recommand her, there is no surprising in the exams!! Good luck guys!!

I really can't understand how she can teach at college level. You don't have to go to class, not worth at all!! Just study the textbook by yourself. And in the exam, she puts some questions that she never taught us. Don't take her ever if you want to really study economics.

I love Sonya. She teaches concisely. Fair-marker, typical exercises given, caring about her students, and always ready to help out. I really enjoyed her lectures though I actually hate Ecnomics. Midterms are ok but tough quizzes and final. However, do the study, then it’s not so difficult fot you getting high marks.

She is the most helpful instructor i have ever seen. She makes things easy and clear to us to leran. U will get good marks in her classes if u are not too lazy and do read the text books!I really enjoy to be her student, and i definitely will take her course if she teachs the second grade courses.

Picky instructor, tricky questiones. I don't like her so much. She even took off lots marks from the tiny grammar mistake on your assignments. Not helpful at all when you have some concepts in unclear. If you have choice, take others.

she is not easy at all. However,very interesting class and very helpful. I highly recommend her if you want to prepare yourself for further Econ study. if you can get a A+ in her course, you have no problem to get a A+ in UBC's Econ. that is my true personal experince.so it worth your consideration.

The best professor I have ever had. Interesting lecture, very helpful after class. She made me really love Econ. Mark hard on assignments to alarm you keeping working hard for midterms and final. if you follow her, u can get a good grade. Sonya rocks!!!
