Ferris is a cool professor. She does pick her favorites in class sometimes but honestly as long as you have a good relationship with your group, you'll pass the class. She's VERY fair if someone in your group doesn't do the work, don't let that be you though. Overall, pretty easy class tbh

beware of the group projects, if your team is a bunch of lazy people, then you won't get an A. My grade suffered because of my teammates and I was livid. Always tell the professor if something is not going as it should. She's a fair grader and she will try to do the best for everyone involved. beware of your group!!

Dr. Ferris is awesome and cares! She want's you to learn and take something away from the course. Show up for lecture, do your weekly readings, put effort into your presentation and paper and you will easily get an A. No book required-she posts the readings on BlackBoard. Bonus - you get to try different foods. Days no presentation-she brings!

I have Dr. Ferris for 3 classes, Org. Comm, Comm. Food and Group Seminar and Team Development. Each class she brings something to the table. She treats you like adults. Her class is not hard if you give her what she wants. She is very clear and she does answer questions. If you feel uncomfortable asking her some questions in class go to office hrs

I x3 her class.Organization Comm and Team & Group seminar & i learned so much! Ferris will tell it like it is! & she is always on point w/her grades, truly cares about her students! Org.Comm = 8 papers & I got all A's bc i applied myself. She tells you what she expects from you,its up to you not to slack! If you want to succeed,def take her class!!

I loved this class. She is a dear. The readings, quizzes, tests, midterm and final go hand in hand so as long as you take notes and read you're set for the semester. Although we hit a rough patch at the end of the class I will always recommend her. Always cite your work!!!

Professor is very rude and very picky. She will go among picking on students for small things and putting them on the spot. The class is not as the way she portrays it, its a lot easier and simpler her weird rules and ways of doing things just add on to her being rude.

Even if she's the last professor on the Earth, don't take her. She's a horrible teacher and hates her students. She finds that one student in the class and picks on them. She's mean and sarcastic, but if you put her in her place, she starts acting nice. Overall, shes nasty and not worth the stress for the semester!! DONT TAKE HER!!

Taking this course was a COMPLETE mistake. This course (when taught by her) is not AT ALL what anyone who signed up for it thought it was going to be. If it wasn't the only course that fit so I could graduate, I would have dropped it. She picks faves, and picks on all the others. She is not clear with directions, and an unfair grader. I could go on

Okay, so majority of my class hated this woman, mainly because she picked on one student. She did do this & was rude, I'm not going to lie, but it wasn't that bad. Shes NOT a bad person or a bad teacher. Shes a tough grader however & her directions are unclear. Put in effort & you'll get an A or B guarunteed. You'll be fine!

Dr. Ferris is a very strange teacher. She says a lot of things to students in class that can be construed as mean or offensive, but I'm not sure if she realizes it. She plays favorites (and... un-favorites) and gives a consistently large amount of work. She's not the grader, though. Also, her classes are mostly pointless (3x4 Communication bingo!?)

As far as teaching goes, she is okay. However, as far as treatment of her students, she is absolutely terrible. She singles students out, gives bad grades that are not deserved, and can be extremely condescending. She is rude and simply not a nice person. Avoid her as a teacher if you can, she will only make you feel bad about yourself.

This teacher is moderate. She does get boring every so often but her material isn't as bad as some say. The actual main problem is the incredibly stupid book she uses. The book makes no sense due to ridiculous definiions for the simplest things. She is difficult to communicate with and she has a weird grading style. Easy once you learntodealwithher

I miss Prof Ferris. Dropped Public Speaking with her last year with too many credits. She's not teaching it now and the Prof I have sux. Ferris was good with lots of short speeches for practice. I may drop again and wait for her

I was not a fan of the subject or the class, but Dr. Ferris herself was okay. She does play favorites and can be stubborn about her points. Make sure to read the chapters. Her instructions can be confusing so make sure to ask questions about it, and don't be afraid to ask to redo a paper.
