I would recommend this class to everyone. You don't need to be going into the field of Special Education to enjoy this class. I feel as though I am a better person after taking his class. Show up and pay attention to what he says and you will do great. If it were possible to take this class with him again, I definitely would. He's so kind!

Dr. Aloia is awesome. He has a great personality and gives interesting lectures. He's retiring soon so take him while you can! Easy A! I learned about a lot of things that I can apply to my future life and family.

This guy is golden. He honestly is one of csuf finest prof yet. He goes all the way and explains the best method to teach younger minds. i will always look up to Aloia to be a better educator.Recommend this prof since he only teaches in the Fall.

Very nice and easy class! Talks fast, does not use book, but the book is helpful if you want to learn the terms especially if you are going to go into teaching. He mainly breezes over the terms but talks more about real life situations. I believe he is retiring soon or teaching only one semester a year so catch him while you can!

I too LOVED his class! He is quite the conservative hippie (I know right) and his approach to teaching is great. That means no homework, exams, quizzes, or busy work. He just requires that you come to class with an open mind ready to take in his lectures which for the most part, are always interesting! Take him!

BEST PROFESSOR EVERR AT CSUF. amazing amazing amazing :) i learned so much in his class that i actually WANTED to go to class and i never once missed! no book, no quizes, no tests, and no papers. only have to turn in "top 5" things learned/discussed in class. I would def. take this class all over again just to listen to all his wonderful stories!

Easy A. All you need to do is show up to class, sign in, and print out whatever he asks you to printout. No HW, no tests+quizzes. The last day of class, he tells you to write a paragraph on what grade you deserve and voila, you're done. Obviously, you don't need the textbook.

Teaches u about life & anything related to spec. ed. u can think of. But majority is MORAL stuff. No test or quiz, just have to turn in website printouts for certain readings, very easy stuff. Last day of class, u need to write him a paragraph about what grade u deserve & y. Be sincere & u'll get an A. Attendance is mandatory coz u have to sign in.

No textbook reading is required. He loves to lecture and is very entertaining. You'll want to come to class just to hear him talk. Assignments are all very easy. 30 hours of observation is required but it's "on your honor." If you need this class, take this professor. You will learn more from listening to him than from reading 5 textbooks.

Amazing! I had him for intersession 2007 and he is one of the nicest guys. He gives real life examples and just likes to discuss. TAKE HIM! It's a class that even if your aren't interested in, you become interested in it. Great Professor, and knows his stuff.
