Dr. Batory is not as difficult as everyone says. People are jsut lazy and do not want to do the work expected of students in college. Granted, he should not belittle students as much as he does. If you are willing to put the work in, you will get a good grade. I did the impossible and got an A.

The rudest professor I have ever had. He doesn't teach. He states his opinions and expects you to remember them. The tests are a load of crap have to memorize everything in the book and powerpoints and still won't pass.

He's not too bad, definitely not as bad as people are saying here. 3 exams, basically straight out of the book so no curve balls there. The research paper (which doubles as a final) is complicated and confusing. Make sure you start it early and ask him how to do the statistic calculations.

In my four years of college this is the professor that I disliked the most. He made me seriously not want to go to class and learn about a subject I was interested in. Try not to take him. I know sometimes there is no other choice.

What a jerk. Lowest grade I ever got in college was from his class, even though I understood everything I read in the book. He lectured on useless stuff not having anything to do with marketing, and would test you on the miniscule details in the book that didn't show you learned anything, just that memorized a sentence. HORRIBLE don't ever take!

Comments in class: "Women should be in the work force at all, but you jsut have to adapt I guess" "80% of American families dont go to church, they are just C-R-A-P morally." He cancelled 60 minutes of a 90 minute class because someone took a sip from a water bottle, which he has strictly forbidden in hi syllabus.

At first I liked Batory and his high academic standards, until I realized that his "high academic standards" consisted of grading students on their ability to memorize large quantities of highly irrelevant data and stats. The focus here should be on trends and concepts if the student is to benefit. I only wish I could have rated lower than a 1.

This guy really thinks he is helping you out in the future, but the truth is, you will learn absolutely nothing. He is the most ignorant teacher ive ever had, and is so out of touch with reality. the course should be easy, cause the concept is simple, but since you have to teach yourself and the test questions are impossible, everyone does horrible

Batory is a disgrace to Bloomsburg University. He will give your grade out to other students, and bad mouth you in the office to fellow classmates. He is totally unprofessional. If this man can make it in the real world, than any of us can. If you have to take this class make sure you do assignment one, because he can't even explain assignment 2.

If you are in the mood for a sexest bull headed teacher, then he is your man.. In our first class the ladies were told that we belong in the kitchen. You can't complain either, since he is who you complain to. Enjoy the projects and tests he picks you apart, and the best part is, that if you have to take this class, he is the only prof. Goodluck!
