This class was one of the best I've ever taken at Drew, and this professor is one of the best I've ever had in my life. Her knowledge of poetry is vast, and her enthusiasm for it is totally inspiring. She's also a wonderful and generous person. I took her class well over a year ago, but she still writes recommendation letters for me! Thank you!

This was my favorite class, period. I loved the subject (Asian American Lit), the discussions, and the professor. We read 1 book per week -- so we worked hard. Students who are lazy don't like her, not surprisingly.

Though she has some interesting things to say about poetry in general, she could care less about students or their work. She lost work and often seemed like she was losing her mind. Disorganized, dull, one of the worst profs I've had at Drew.

I thought Suji Kwok Kim was a great poetry instructor. I had her when she first started at Drew and I found her easy going, extremely nice as well as smart and insightful. I thought she was very non judgemental toward student writing.

OK class...She seemed a little too intense for the people who were just coming in to write poems to their girlfriends...and a bit too snobby to those who don't like the poets she likes...but other than that...eh.
