I love Miss Susan (Miss? Mrs?). I took this as an eight week class, so it was very condensed. If you are actually interested in the material, take it as a 16 week course and soak it in.

She contradicts what is in the book. She had an ungraded assignment when asked about it she never answered what it was. Multiple emails and scrrenshots of the assignment was sent to her. She asked that I call then didnt answer the phone and never returned the call. This assignment was the difference between a "B" and an "A"

Mrs. Phillips is very nice... But is so disorganized. I just started her online class, and I am so lost as to what is due and when it is due! I like her, but I would not recommend taking her online classes. Period.

She is a SCATTERBRAINED teacher! Her online class is NOT organized. The stuff she taught us throughout the semester did NOT help prepare us for the final. She brought WAY too much unimportant information into the class so you are confused as to what to study when it comes test timefinal time.

The number one problem was disorganization. Links did not lead to what they were meant to. Files were in folders that were not labeled appropriately. Questions were either vague or overly opinionated. The amount of work (and puzzling over the instructor's desires) was disproportionate to the knowledge gained. Communication was extremely poor.

This is my second course with Susan Philips and I will take more. She is a great instructor and a super person. Helps you when ever help is needed. Her classes are interesting and easy to follow. Learned a lot.

Took Intro to New Testament online with Mrs Phillips. She is not always neutral on her views of the Bible or Christianity, some of her comments and assignments seem as though they are designed to intentionally conflict with Biblical beliefs. The quizzes/tests are not difficult but she requires a large amount of reading the text and watching videos.

I took an online course with Mr. Phillips. There were a lot of discussion boards, 15 quizzes, tests and a few papers. There was a TON of information and videos to watch, so that was very time consuming. MUST READ THE BOOK! If you buckle down you can do well, I got an A. She is very helpful and wants you to succeed. Great teacher!

she is very knowledgeable - has a definite agenda when teaching about religion but its not a bad agenda - respect others, etc. - gets a little preoccupied with her own interests but still offers a good diverse perspective to the classes - very easy to work with
