By far the BEST professor at NJCU! I had him for a creative writing course and he's very funny and really gets you out of your shell. I would definitely take his class again. Lin's the man!

A brilliant professor! He helps you "let go" with your poetry. You forget everything that is holding you back---the desire to be profound and wanting to be the next great American writer. He's a funny guy, too. He jokes about your writing, how it's "too telling" or "too easy". He's the coolest! :)

He was great. A very tough grader. However easy to get along with. If you weren't doing well in the class he would suggest going to a tutor. He a nice person but as a professor he was okay. However, I can't complain, his methods of teaching does work.

Professor is extremely hard. Doesn't help much with revisions. Gives confusing grades like C+/B- never understood that. He is a very cool teacher but at times when it comes to essays you need more help then you would expect

his form of writing is very different from what I was use to... He was a little "weird" sometimes.. mostly class is done in a "Workshop" setting... get ready to bring copies of your work for every student in class... a bit of writing assignments obviously... final is collection of all work done during the semester... do this and u pass

Sometimes a little too critical. Participate in class and it will definetely help your grade. Grades sometimes confusing...what the heck is a D-/F+?? Sometimes he is a bit unclear, but use the opportunities to work on your papers in class to have him help you. I got an A-...but not without trying.

Philosophy class-yes, English-NO! Doctor of Philosophy, extremely liberal, questionable agenda. He jams his views into your throat, otherwise you will get an F on your paper. Can be fun but very disheveled: doesn't remember homework assignments, leaves class immediately, almost never helps. States your mistakes but doesn't help with revision. GL!

He is a very tough grader, which is a good thing. You can tell he loves what he is doing. The first time you get a paper back it's shocking with all the red markings, but everything he marks is meaningful. It's very refreshing to have someone care so much about your writing.
