Comment:

I took this course online over the summer so I don't know if it is different in the fall or spring but, unlike most online courses he doesn't use modules or discussions. Essentially there's just a couple online exams and papers. He is also really cool about late work so as long as you get everything done it is a pretty easy A.

Dr. Mac is a wealth of knowledge. I always enjoyed his life stories (which do pertain to the material). Word of warning, he is very soft spoken, and his lectures are a little monotone, you will learn, and you will remember him. Would totally recommend.

Super easy class --- only 5 or so essays throughout the entire semester. No quizzes, in-class exams or a final. His stories were the best part of his class. He is an utter genius in his field, and you will be engaged to listen to all of his amazing life stories that all intricately intertwine to his lectures.

I had him before and, he was great. His lectures are not motivational to many but, he speaks as if he were there. He's been around for a while and knows what he's talking about. If you appreciate history then you can appreciate his style. Just show up, listen to the lectures, and submit the few papers he assigns and, you'll get your "A".

Dr. Mclnerney is a great person. He has a vast amount of knowledge you just have to get it out of him. Class can be a bore, and you really won't learn much unless you ask questions. On a personal level he is great, but his teaching style and class is not for some.

Pretty horrible professor. He gives no specifics for his paper. He just says write on political ideology, but then grades on all sorts of other things. He does give a detailed formatting guide and expects you to follow it to a tee (as well as other unmentioned criteria). His lectures are boring and he uses movies to teach. Do not take him!

This guy, by far, is the most eccentric teacher I have ever had. Easy grader provided you pay attention to his strict formatting style; lectures consist of random stories that have nothing to do with the course title :) Don't expect to learn much about the course material, but colleges are just businesses these days anyway. I definitely recommend

Despite reading the negative reviews I decided to give him a try. This is the easiest class I have taken online, he gives you a week to complete exams and assignments from the time he posts them and he always sends reminder emails when he makes them available. If you had a question or concern he was quick at respond and figuring out the solution.

I took him for US WWI-WWII and thought it would be a lot of fun and interesting, but sadly it was the opposite. I can say I learned absolutely nothing in that class, it is a blank. He doesn't teach well, and I don't mean to be critical about his age, but I notice with older teachers they are hard to hear and not very interesting when they lecture

Worst professor ever. Had him for emergence of modern us and I learned nothing new because he didn't teach anything. We had two papers of four pages each and only outlined what the page and title format should be and what books it should be on. Topic was your choice and he never gave any feedback. Avoid him!

Only reason attendance is mandatory is that no one would show up other wise. Can't hear him at all and what little you can make out Is all his own personal stories. Ruined my enthusiasm for US WW1-WW2

A terrible class and an even boring teacher. Staying awake in his class is impossible and if you happen to fall asleep he will try to humiliate you if he notices. His class consists of listening to long boring stories of his personal life. I feel like I have learned NOTHING. I used the time to nap or play computer games. Only the movies stand out.

I do NOT recommend this professor. He won't answer any questions you have. Hardly ever shows up for class (he cancelled two weeks in a row at one point.) If you explain something out of the book, he'll say it's wrong. All he does is lecture about stuff that isn't even interesting. Two papers for the entire course in terms of h/w and your final

Awful professor, easily one of the worse I've ever had. He doesn't teach anything related to the topic at all, and you can barely hear him when he talks. However, it is stupid easy to pass his class, and he cancels class often, so I guess if you want to get an easy A, he's the way to go. That said, nice guy, AWFUL teacher. Bring something to do.

This class is an easy A. Yes attendance is taken. Yes you watch a lot of movies. Yes his lectures are dry. However they are filled with dry humor if you pay attention he is damn funny. Papers are easy. Just follow his guidelines and your golden.
