Dr. West is THE BEST teacher I think I've ever had. He really cares about the students and how they do in class. He is really... touchy, though. You might have to walk on eggshells in his class sometimes, because he is bipolar and can kinda flip out. But that doesn't keep him from being an extremely knowledgeable guy and a great teacher!!!!

A very caring professor. Always willing to listen to students inside and outside of class. All he wants is for students to try, and will justly reward effort. One of the rare professors who truly relies upon effort for grades, rather than numbers and letters.

West is a great person, but his class is very unorganized and nebulous. I personally learned a lot in his class, but his style left something to be desired. He is admittedly "bi-polar" and takes medication for it. Don't be surprised if he angrily dismisses class and walks out early at least a couple of times in a semester.

T Dubbs is a ****. Easily the best teacher I have ever had. Absolutely hilarious, and the wittiest person I have ever met. He makes very boring material interesting and relevant to our lives. He genuinely cares more about his students than himself. I wish he taught more at the UofA.
