Comment:

This professor had a clear grading policy- and if you miss the due dates, by letting him know 24 hours ahead of time- it is no big deal. This takes the stress out of taking college classes. The course was straightforward, and an easy read to pass. READ THE RECOMMENDED PAGES though. i basically memorized the glossary and passed, just skim-reading..

He is straight forward. All the quizzes total 5 are take home quiz and you can score . There is one project and it's easy. There are 3 tests (no final) before every test he hand over review paper (study guide) you'll score over 90 if you go through it properly. He is easy grader. Attendance is not mandatory.. his lectures might be boring sometime

Comment:

The class online is laid out easily and you can work ahead and finish early if you can. 8 sections total, each with a homework assignment, quiz, and exam. Once you finish all 8 you are done. I found Micro to be a lot hard than Macro, so I felt some of the material was hard to learn on your own and would have preferred a professor in person.

He lectures every day, so if you are someone who gets bored with lectures easily I don't recommend him. He is a very intelligent and does help with whatever questions you have though! The tests aren't crazy difficult if you do study FROM THE BOOK and the study guide. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you miss class u will miss something important

Was graded on 3 tests, one assignment, and 5 quizzes for the whole semester. Also found that the using the book was helpful and end result was significantly higher test averages than when I didn't use it (the test I didn't use the book to review for ended with my class average dropping a letter grade). Otherwise pretty straightforward/easy class.

Professor Hudgins is a well rounded professor. He teaches class the old-school way with long lectures but don't let that fool you. The class is pretty straightforward and simple to pass so long as you treat the study guides with respect and review them well prior to tests as they practically mirror the exams. Class attendance is critical! Easy B!

There is 3 tests and the study guide is all you need to make an A, just use it. Lectures can be a little long but it's economy and he knows what he's talking about. Attendance not required but there are 4 quizzes so if you're never there you'll obviously miss them. Would take him again

Great Professor, gives long lectures but makes the material simple and easy to understand. Does a good job at putting all the concepts related to the class into perspective. Gives excellent study guides that almost mirror the tests, review them well, show up to class and you should pass no problem with a B or C. Study the guides well for an easy A.

I loved this class. It was straight forward. No bs. You know what you need to do to make an A. Lectures can be a little boring at times, but I really enjoyed the majority of them.

This professor was so disorganized and boring that this class was a huge hassle. He makes a ton of your grades come from MyEconLab (which is bad if you can't afford it!). His notes are hell to get from the whiteboard to notebook paper. He gives out study guides that help, but won't help clarify many questions about the notes.

Hudgins gets a bad rep for being boring. Granted, he is long winded, will keep you the entire class period, and does not provide many grades. But, he's a really great guy and I learned a lot. His reviews are pretty much word for word what the test will be. If you know the review (which is not hard to memorize) you will get an A on the tests.

I took him for macro. 3 tests including the final, no extra credit or hw.he gives you study guides for the test and study that from your notes and u will get an easy A. there is a 10pt bonus so its not hard to make an A. take him!!!

This guys knows what he's talking about, but Macroecon. in general can be pretty tough to follow. I was able to get by the class without buying the book, but I'm not sure if I would recommend going that route, unless you take good notes (and with this teacher it's hard to know when you SHOULD be taking notes!) Overall pretty good. Tests = moderate.

Did a great job teaching the material. Lots of notes but the notes are the answers to the test. Show up, listen fully, take notes, reviews given out with plenty of time to study, be prepared to combine review questions on the actual exam, and you will earn an A

So senile. He teaches things completely unrelated to the test. He's boring, full of himself and grades essay and short answer questions on how well he likes you. The only thing that helped me pass this class was the study guide and the myeconlab I wasted 50 $ on. Dont take him unless you breathe economics.

I think the class is very easy, don?t know why anyone is complaining. Mr. Hudgins leaves out from the tests the hardest topics of econ?s. Explains everything very clearly, gives study guides out weeks before the exam with plenty of time to study. All you need to do is come to class and listen, if you do not understand then ask questions.

Very hard to pay attention unless your just interested. Straight lecture with all over the board notes that arent easy to follow when your studying. His review is similar to the test, but the test itself is mainly fill in the blank and some things are thrown in there that were not on the review. Very hard class!
