Tom belittles students in front of everyone in lecture and lab. He refuses to help students who fall behind. In his eyes this is a weed out class. He can remember more students who have dropped out of school than ones he helped graduate and is proud of this statistic. Not the kind of person that should be a teacher.

You will hear from many people that having Mr. Mahas for Digital is scary. Truth be told: It is, but he is a very cool guy. He forces you to learn the material. He will be short with you at first (to scare off the weaklings), but later on he is a very cool and helpful teacher. Don't take his material lightly, but don't be intimidated either.

If you didn't know how to troubleshoot before this class, you will know how once you leave it (Digital Circuits). It's about the only thing that I got out of it, having to take it twice. Best thing to do with his teaching, is to record his lectures on a voice recorder then transcribe them. It helped me.

A wonderful teacher! Forces you to figure things out for yourself which helped me learn. Really understanding guy, let me make up missed work on final exam day. I recommend him! Funny guy also, and be careful if your a punk!

Very good teacher. He will make sure you know every material covered in class. If you do not understand a problem he will explain to the details and will twist the knife until you do. His tests are hard but he does give partial credits. Highly recommended.

HE WILL MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR STUFF! He will move wires on you or swap or delete parts of a computer. He will make you think your wrong when your right. But in the end he does an extraordinary job of giving you confidence in yourself when you finish the class

Very down to earth, uses lots of analogies that makes stuff easy to understand. Very thorough and teaches in such a way that makes you learn by doing. Classes are pretty easy, homework is minimal and simple, but he doesn't mess around on tests and quizzes. Overall he's an awesome dude.
