One of my all time favorite professors! He knows the Bible backwards and forwards, and, moreover, his lectures are fascinating! He's also caring, honest and fair. I learned so much in his class!

Dr. Hamilton is an amazing teacher and I am sad to see him leave. I had the class TR 2:10-3:25, which can be tough sometimes. However, it's worth it in the end.

Awesome. Tests can be difficult, but if you really know the notes and lectures, and have a reasonable understanding of the chapters in the book, an A is easily attainable. Really cares about his students and has quite a passion for what he teaches; is a world authority on the Old Testament and has published several books. TAKE HIM!

Vic Hamilton is amazing. You should take him if you have the chance. His brilliance and wit will keep you fascinated in class, and his humor will almost certainly make you laugh out loud. A man of God whose class you will leave feeling educated and spiritually enlightened.

Dr. Hamilton is a world authority on the Old Testament, and his class was fascinating. Be prepared for off-the-charts difficulty on the objective sections of the exams, but the essays balance those out. Charming, excellent sense of humor, and very knowledgeable.

Comment:

Dr Hamilton is one of my fond memories of Asbury. I was turned off of religion calsses b/c of another Prof. but Dr. Hamilton's enthusiasm and depth of knowledge drew me in and helped me learn things that I never knew existed. He is a great Prof and will be sorely missed on campus.

Vic is a nice guy. Good knowledge of material. However, if you disagree with him on his tests or assignments he'll often take off points. His grading scale is totally subjective, which I don't really like. Good Prof to have, but on tests and stuff tell him what he wants to hear.
