Such an easy class! I took the 9 weeks condensed course. I usually fail English but somehow got a B... She does editing conferences so you only have classes every other week! Final was a 3 minute presentation of your research paper, & you just pushed the desks in a circle, don't have to stand up or anything...bottom line... TAKE HER!!!

I liked Big Bursey. The only reason I couldn't have done better in her class was because of my busy schedule. The work isn't hard its just time consuming and some of the readings are interesting. She does implement Shakespeare for those that cringe at the mentioning of the name. Shes one of two English teachers worth a damn at Cuesta College

Probably the best English teacher I have ever had. She is extremely helpful and no reading/analysis is required for any of the essays. While she does assign quite a few essays they are very easy to write and are more like creative writing. Editing groups are mandatory but very helpful. Impossible to get behind if you follow her deadlines.

Bursey's class for 201A is pretty easy and chilled out for the first 10 weeks. Overall, she is a good teacher because she cares a lot! But, she did cancel a final on us...oh well, I enjoyed it!

Prof. Bursey is an awesome teacher. She is really funny,outgoing, and enthusiastic about what she teaches. Shes not too hard on spelling errors, more of a content grader. If you do assignments and keep up on reading you should have no problem getting a B. I felt really comfortable in her class, almost like I was being taught by my Auntie haha.
