So knowledgeable! He writes all of his notes himself, including code and examples. Came up to a small book by the end. Always available for extra help and great source for more resources. You do need to show that you've tried as he will not just give you the answer. I actually learned in this class! Assignments were long but simple if you read.

just drop the course and take it next term. His assignments take hours. Often worth 100+ marks. questions 1-3, park 1-k, subparts i-ix Serious waste of time as you're just asked to copy paste code. But the tests are mostly theory.

The course is kinds of useful in data field. Not so clear explaining things on lecture, self-study is really important if you are with this professor. All the questions on assignments need R to compute. Really hard after the midterm. Never want this prof. again.

Doesn't care a bit about the students and can be pretty rude with his answers. Teaches needlessly complex ideas not part of course to prove the simple solution, wasting a lecture or two. Not only will he have red herrings(misleads) on the exams, but he sets up a problem and than ask you do solve something completely different. Worst prof in my3 yrs

if u r the person who will do hmwk alone, u could survive in his class. however, beware, copying a single word from ur fd might be caught. even disccussion is not alowed. the fact is more than 10 ppl hv been caught in that class. dont know it's his fault or that damn TA's fault..anywayz, be extremely careful and good luck.

Horrible experience. Worse course so far. Prof is scaring me off from Stats. Material presented in class were too much. Boring class. Quizzes and exam were OK if you understand the material but definitely this is a self study class.
