Very easy class. All I had to do was buy the actual textbook which is cheaper than the online one. I read a chapter a week which was 10-15 pages and pretty much common sense. Just write 500 words a week on what you learned about 10 times and you get an A. He's also really nice! I emailed him asking for advice after passing and he still replies :)

This online class was easy A. you have to buy the book online, and all you do is read the chapters, and for each ch. you write like a two page summary. it's 14 in total, BUT if you do two every week you'll be done in 3months with the whole class. Don't be foolish and leave it all at the last min because then you won't pass. NOquizzes/test only pap

This was my 1st online class I have ever taken in college! Overall, great class and so much great information about personal finance that every college student needs to know about that can be used in life! This class is based on submitting your papers by the end of the semester but dont wait last minute. Professor gives back great feedback!

Dr. Jennings is a sweet guy that cares about his students. I took his only class and it was a piece of cake. He responds to emails really quick and wants his students to learn not only just to learn the material but also to use it in your personal life.

Jennings is such a sweet guy! He really cares about his students and loves to talk. Your grade depends on two grades but he curves it a lot. He does not care for grades but wants you to learn something. Great guy to talk to for inspiration. Learn finance before you enter the class!! Learn time value of money before attending to get an A.

This was the honors section, he gives 2 midterms. He does not give a study guide or reviews in class. His lectures are boring and it's hard to tell if he is telling a story or if it's part of what we're learning. He is helpful in office hours. His exams are difficult but he's the best if you have to take honors finance

This class was the best experience I ever had! Only 12 students are admitted! Very intelligent environment. You get to learn a lot. Imagine a board meeting room, and you are the research analysts! You recommend buying and selling with real money ~ $1.5 million portfolio of American & Int'l stocks! No exams, no books, no finals! Take it if you can!

Worst teacher I had while at CSUN. Still managed to graduate with honors, but worked my #$@ off. He gave mid and said it should take 35-40 min. It took full 2.5 hrs, then he gave it to us as take-home exam. Spent 10-12 hrs to complete and final was not much better.

Serves as Department Chair of Finance Department, best instructor I have ever had at CSUN. He is exceptional in passing along pertinent information that relates directly to events in the outside business environment. A great person and teacher!!!!!
