He is a very funny guy who is passionate about what he teaches. He just talks the entire hour about experiences and what he thinks. There are 3 papers and with an A in the class you will probably be exempt from the final exam.

Such a good professor! Only take if it interests you. It was a really interesting course, and I enjoyed it. Go to his office hours, he likes that. He loves questions and you arguing with him. 10/10 recommend.

Bill Wagner is a great guy. Easy A if you go to class and pretend you're paying attention. He enjoys the sound of his own voice and swears a ton so prepare yourself for that. He also loves a kid named Jimmy, will never know he that kid is real or not.

This class is very confusing at first. His expectations are very unclear, but as you work through the class you begin to figure out what he wants. The class relies around group discussions, so you better be prepared to be very active online. I wouldn't take again in an online format. Would be better in-person.

The only thing you will be doing in this class is writing papers. There are no tests or quizzes. Easiest class I've ever taken. This professor babbles a lot. He does take attendance though, and it will add up and hurt your grade more than you would think if you don't show up. It was interesting at first but then got repetitive and boring.

Do 2 reflection papers on 2 books less than 300 pages, have a final assignment where you write a story based on information given in class. Can be long sometimes but hes an over all good professor. Easy class just show up for participation points and thats about it.

Class was easy, no test, but there was five paper you will have to write. The teacher is old and loves to share old war stories. If you agree with this teacher or pretend so you will receive a good grade. Grading is very unpredictable. Wagner will also not answer his emails so don't even try.

this class changed how I viewed some things. I encourage you to take this class as it challenges you to think from different point of views. He's very helpful and funny. He has some great stories. There was no homework just essays to write. There was like one essay due once a month. Easy and rewarding class.

Learned more in his class than all my classes combined. People who are complaining about this professor are the exact people he talks about in his lectures. People that are one minded and does not question authority and power. He opens your mind up about a lot of things, not only do you learn about Juvenile Delinquency, but you learn lot about life

Amazing teacher! Entertaining stories and energetic! A lot of lecture but it is important to listen to them for papers, don't be afraid to take notes! He likes to argue with students so don't be shy. Highly recommend taking Juvenile Delinquency with him!

Easy class, frustrating professor. Contradicts himself and uses unrealistic examples, also enjoys debating students to make them look foolish to bolster his ego. But on the bright side, he doesn't hold anyone to a high standard of responsibility so it's easy o BS the course and get an A.

The greatest thing I learned in this class is to look at things in another light. Dr. Wagner is very approachable, with that said, very liberal. Don't expect to learn much from him. He teaches more about his personal opinions more than anything. If you do argue with him, you better have a good answer or he will tell that your opinion is wrong.

Great teacher, but may frustrate you at times. Don't be afraid to argue with him because he loves it. Come to class for the participation points and take notes on his lectures. You will need them for your midterm essay, final essay and basic themes. He has passion for what he believes & it's awesome listening to him.

I found this class very challenging. I took it as a general and having to write essays is not my strong point and I felt like he was somewhat a hard grader as well. I wouldn't recommend unless it is in your major.

Easy A. He's a decent professor, if you don't argue with him. He challanges you to think against yourself and common beliefs and says he is open-minded, but if you express your opinion and it is different than his he will belittle you in every way he can.

This is a winner! I loved this professor. He is open and honest (I trust him). I actually learned something by doing papers and exams. He does not suffer fools. Don't expect multiple choice or true-false. Makes college worth the tuition.

Strengths: philosophical knowledge, novel perspective on juvenile delinquency.Easy A if you're not an idiot. Weaknesses: Consistently at least 5 minutes late to class. No "lesson plans." His notes on the chalk board are useless (just circles and squares). Extra: This should be a writing intensive class. All tests are essay.
