Stats was a dizzying downward spiral into failure. He's impatient, extremely strict, and at times incomprehensible. For some reason he spends most of class talking about God instead of teaching the class I just paid for. Also he was almost always absent or late and always harried and disoriented.

Prof. Moon is the best! Although at times he is very hard to follow. You will do well if you take good notes and study often! He is very strict about cell phones and threated people with baseball bats. I'm not sure if he was serious or not. Great guy! Loves God and is involved in missions! The first 30 minutes of class is a devotion and prayer.

Prof. Moon is awesome. I love his heart for God and missions. Eventually we get around to studying math. ha ha. Seriously, Moon is a great teacher and I highly recommend taking him.

Best Math teacher I have ever had. Dr. Moon is a wonderful man of God who loves to teach. He often spends half of the class talking about missions before we even crack a book. I would take all of his classes if I was a math major.

Prof Moon was a delight but very difficult to understand and had difficulties trying to teach in a school like LU. However, he was good at his subject. You will need to know theory to pass 401 and 302. Take 302 -- he is great. Just know your calc and basic stats (& prob). He has trouble saying certain words so be sure to ask him when in doubt.

Professor Moon was a great professor for this class. He was great at explaining things and he gives several take home quizzes. We had two tests which were hard but if you do your work and keep up then you should do ok. :) I got an A in the class. I would highly recommend taking Moon for Math 201.

If you like anything about China, start talking about it in the first class... he'll love you forever. However, I got on his bad side when I fell asleep in his 9am class... he ripped me w new one and disliked me for the rest of the year. He's loud, he's crazy, and he's a father of 2.

Like others have said, if you have to take this class, take it with Moon. He wrote the book you use for gods sake! He is also a great guy and a funny professor, really passionate about both math and god. I laugh every time I think of him threatening to beat people up with baseball bats

Very knowledgable about statistics, will teach you what you need to know in order to pass. GO EVERY DAY! if you skip, you will not do well, goes very fast. Often goes off on tangents about missions and his infant triplets, but gets right back on topic, will yell at you to pay attention. The best teacher to take for this class by far.

I'm horrible at math, but got an A in this class. Definitely worked hard and studied, so anyone who says this class is impossible is lazy. Keeps you awake by slamming yardsticks on his desk up front. Stop complaining and start studying - you're in college.
