Comment:

Definitely the worst professor I've ever taken! Math is my favorite subject. On one of his tests I got ever single question right and showed all of my work and I got an F on the test because I didn't do it the way he taught us because I found out an easier way. I took my test to the math department and the forced him to give me an A. TERRIBLE!

Comment:

Can be difficult to understand at times due to his accent. Lectures were not very helpful and rather scattered, however his Tests are either take homes or open notes and if the overall average of the tests isn't good he will give extra credit assignments during class. Overall easy, my advice stick to the textbook and you'll do fine.

WORST PROFESSOR EVER!!! He does not follow the book with his lecture, his notes are awful, and his accent is incomprehensible. Plus, he makes you feel like a idiot if you ask questions about the material. Please, don't ever take his class.

No. Seems like a nice guy but worst teacher I've ever had. There were 7 people left in my class by the time finals came and I'm pretty sure at least half of those still failed (including myself). The only way you can pass is if you're good at math and can teach yourself, or if he likes you for whatever reason. Loved math before his class :[

This professor is awful. He gets easily distracted & does not stick to the subject. Most people ended up dropping the class. Mine was a 3 hour nightmare 1x per week. Material covered in class does not prepare you for test. Its a mystery why this professor is still teaching. Ratings about this professor on the site are true.

DO NOT TAKE HIM PLEASE!!! HORRIBLE TEACHER, He knows his stuff, but he doesn't know how to teach unfortunately, strong accent, worst ever!!! It was a sacrifice to go to his classes, he doesn't help at all. Summarizing... Valencia should forbid teachers like that to teach.

Bases all grades off tests, and if not done his way, no matter if you give the correct answer, you will still get points marked off. He does not use the book, and teaches strictly on calculator, and expects you to show work and know formulas he hasn't gone over. Hard to understand, will belittle you in front of the class and laugh like it's a joke.

He was hard to understand, blows through hard questions without much explaination, only does tests, and the little bit of extra credit was hardly worth the effort, he gets off on random tangents, and seems to be more concerned with the meanings of words than he is with math. Lets just say... DO NOT TAKE HIM.

Please don't take this guy the chances of you failing are so high. He only gives out tests which total up to 100 points, which makes it easier for you to fail. After that he doesn't collect or grade homework. He only gives out some extra credit and it's really hard to do so hes basically not even giving out any at all.

Do yourself a favor and if you see this guy, run! He has tamtrums during class, he is not clear what so ever and does no stay on topic. Also, if you ask him questions or ask him to go over something most of the time his response is "this is easy we wont go over it"...he shouldn't be teaching.

Horrible. Theres not a lot of work..which makes it easier to fail. Theres only a few tests and quizzes...some are take home, but you'll still fail. He teaches stuff thats not on the tests and he makes up his own policies that don't make sense. I've never argued so much with a teacher before. He belittles you, talks crap, and thinks it's funny.DON'T

Very difficult to understand. Also, very pompous. Attendance is absolutely MANDATORY, he WILL drop you if you do not come to class. He makes up school policy in order for him to hide behind it... IT IS B.S.! Not sensitive to personal conflicts. Told me "everyone's grandmother dies, you need to get over it." The week she died. Enough said.

This was his first time teaching this class (1107). Hes hard to understand and his tangents are pointless. But heres the real story. I went to every class, and I got D's and F's on all my tests. I explained to him that Im not a math person. He saw that I did my best, and I ended up with a B in the class. Hes a good guy with a big heart.

This class was ridiculous. I did all of my homework and visited the math support center and still BARELY passed with a C. He's very hard to understand and tries to make "jokes" to help us remember but no one gets it and it makes things worse. In the end though he ended up helping those who needed it. If you take him WORK HARD and learn on your own.
