she's caring and nice but she's not a good teacher. Her class is interesting but not related to her tests! You even don't know how to make your test well! But the tests are not very difficult just sometimes strange

She is ALL over the place. Very tough to follow, nothing in class related to the tests and tests were very detailed and specific. Service learning is a requirement and it is time consuming. 3 exams, attendance, poster project, service learning, extreme no cell phone policy. Lots of silly requirements, and she is practically unbearable.

Terrible Professor. She discusses touchy subjects with no empathy. We literally had a class where she just called out racial slurs, to show what steryotyping meant. Also her tests don't relate to anything she teaches in class. Can be racially bias.

She's a mundane lecturer where you leave class learning nothing, they are mostly stories which are interesting until they take up half the class. Her assignments are straightforward but she's an extremely tough grader. Her tests have nothing to do with the class or textbook. It is much harder than it needs to be for an intro level course

Prof. Weiner is so cute. She's older and loves sharing stories about her life, which some students hate and some students love. She always uses real life examples to help explain what she's talking about and shows some funny videos in class. Her exams are harder than I expected.

She is a very nice lady. Very respectful and funny. But NOT a good teacher. Tough grader and non-sense exams. SUPER hard. Have to take her class for credits.

Professor Weiner is an enthusiastic person. Some people may consider her class boring, but she really organized the class materials well, with abundant interesting materials. She is also very helpful after class. As long as you read the books and do well on the quiz, you will easily get an A.

Professor Weiner is a sweet lady but an AWFUL professor. Senile is the best word I can think of. Her syllabus is a mess and expectations are not clear at ALL. Lectures are a waste of your time, and the tests are incredibly hard - the material isn't related to anything you learn in the class. She's an awful professor, it's an awful class.

Prof. Weiner is amazing. Though she is a bit unorganized, she is extremely knowledgable about the material and is always eager to help her students in any way possible. She has extremely clear expectations, and as long as you follow the guidelines on the assignments you will be okay. There is a lot of work, but the class is totally worth it.

Do not recommend this class. She is a very nice lady but lectures are not worthwhile and the tests are very hard. Test questions do not make sense. The class has a lot of busy work as well.

Very nice but she goes on tangents and what we discuss in class has nothing to do with what we get tested on. Her line of thought does not make sense. Everything is straight from the textbook and she loves to do short answers that require very specific answers.

Honestly, this class is ridiculous. Had to take for a requirement, but it is pretty much a joke. Prof. Weiner is a very, very nice lady with a great attitude and is very helpful. However, this class is not based on the actual course material, so the exams look nothing like what was covered in the class. The service learning aspect was a joke as del

One of the best professors at GW. I actually looked forward to/ enjoyed going to Interpersonal Comm- Prof. Weiner is so helpful and class discussions are always interesting. I was skeptical at first prior to taking her class bc of all the comments below but am so happy I actually did. The exams come directly from the book. Highly recommend.

She's boring and all of the graded material comes directly from the book. Theres a quiz every week. She's not a good teacher. It's worth it to take it with the teacher on the vern, heard that class is great. This one is a drag

She is a great person, and a great advisor... her lectures have nothing to do with midterm or final or quizes... study from the book... both exams are directly from the book... if you read and study the book the class is an easy A

Although she is a nice lady, she shouldn't be a prof. to be teaching. She teaches the course like a class at a community college. She does not go over important terms in the text. You will need to do self studying and find out the lectures are useless. Her quizzes and exams are unnecessarily hard and answer choices are very confusing. don't recomm.

she is a nice enough lady, and Im sure she is a great internship counselor, but as far as teaching she is completely inept. her tests are unnecessarily hard, and they do not cover material from lectures. this shouldnt be a college course, and unless you want to be an interpersonal communicator avoid this class b/c it will destroy your GPA

Nice, but she makes the class harder than it should be. She injects her lectures w/ fun videos and clips. She is horrible with technology & we were always waiting for her to figure out how to turn on the projector. Test & quizzes have poorly worded questions. Good person to know for internships.

Weiner is super nice and a great lady; HOWEVER, her lectures are full of common-sense material. She talks on and on about relationship concepts that every college-aged person already knows and understands. Her tests are difficult, which makes up for her useless lectures. Some days I felt like I was getting Dr. Phil advice...not very academic!
