I LOVE PROF. NEZ!! She has so much passion for poetry and she makes it obvious. She's an amazing teacher. The workload is average, but it's not hard at all. She's a good grader and cares about the well being of her students. She takes attendance, but her class flies by. I highly recommend her to everyone. The class isn't too hard and it's fun. :)!!

Professor Nez (it's okay to call her that) is probably one of my favorite professors here. Attendance is important but as long as you complete your writings on time (which is easy) you'll be fine. Participation is very important so if you're introverted you may want to re-think taking her classes.

She is a super nice teacher, but if you miss a class, don't expect too much help from her. She expects you to be friends with everyone in your class and to get help from them. A couple essays, and books are mandatory! She did make class fun to go to and I definitely liked her as a teacher.

Aimee is one of the top three teachers I had in undergrad. If you ask her, she's willing to help you outside of class. Her comments are not perscriptions to give your stories/ poems, but rather guidelines to consider when revising. Bottom line: show up for class, do the reading, and you'll do well with her. Great person, great teacher.

she's fun and serious at the same time. she has such enthusiasm for this subject that you can't help but get excited too. i can't wait to go to class everyday. she keeps the course load down for the most part and is very active in class discussions. she's not afraid to tell us her about her childhood and adult experiences
