Al is a great professor if you apply yourself in class. His tests are relatively easy. Sometimes the lectures can be long but he always tells crazy stories to help lighten the load. Always write down book titles and authors!

Lectures can be long to listen to. His notes sometimes come from the book but some of them you have to just write down based on what he says. His tests are fairly easy if you study. He will send out practice exams (with correct answers) and sometimes he puts those practice questions on the test. He loves what he teaches and is willing to help!

My favorite teacher ever! I had absolutely no interest in the sciences when I took his class (requisite), and he made me truly enthusiastic to learn about botany! The classes, projects and field trips were awesome, and he truly cares about his students!

Had him for Intro to Envir. Science. Boring class first thing in the morning, but fun labs and great field trips. College field trips! Very enthusiastic about the material. Humor includes vegetarians, erections, and disdain for mountain bikes.
