Comment:

Very good Professor, engaging, interesting, and funny. Enjoyed being in class. Did not enjoy the hour(s) of homework every single night without fail. I'd like to study my own way, not his way. Other than that, he is an excellent professor. Without so much homework I really would have enjoyed this course.

Professor Perry is the best teacher I've ever had.He starts every class with us standing up and doing basic Italian gestures and phrases. He then always goes into a review for what we did the day before. And then we move on to today's topics. Periodically through out the class he has us stand up and interact with each other in groups and in pairs.

Best professor I've ever had! He was very influential in my decision to attend grad school for Italian and he is still helps me out and offers me advice to this day! He's truly a wonderful professor and I learned so much from him

Incredible! I learned so much in this class about the ways Italians think and act. And, beyond offering us explanations of hand gestures and why Italians might use them, Prof. Perry even helped me understand why Italians drive like bats out of hell. Super professor. Super course. Best I've ever had!

Amazing professor. He is the reason I am an Italian major. Even though Gettysburg doesn't have an Italian major, I seriously consider going just because of him. If you have the change, take one of his classes. It will change your world.

I was really reluctant about taking the class because I didn't know if I'd do well, but Perry made all my fears disappear. He's SO MUCH FUN, energetic, and the only way to describe his class is "MERAVIGLIOSA!" (marvelous). Take all your ITAL classes with him -- he's extremely fair, understanding, and ALWAYS willing to help you.

Best professor I've had thus far. He definitely knows what he's doing and made learning Italian a lot of fun. He's also the sole reason I became an Italian Studies minor. I would recommend any class taught by Perry, whether in Italian or English, no matter what the subject matter.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. Truly cares about his students, really wants you to understand and succeed in his class. Passionate, fun, intelligent as hell-he also gives tons of opportunities for extra credit. So if you don't do well in his class it is definately all your fault. He actually made learning a language fun and exciting

Prof. Perry is one of those professors that this world needs more of! Always willing to help and understands that his class isn't the only one we are taking! Extremely nice and makes class VERY fun! Definitely knows his stuff. TAKE A CLASS WITH HIM.

Professor Perry is awesome!! Take his class, you may not get an A, or even a B+, but you learn so much! I have taken languages for years and have never learned this much from anyone.
