Lectures and PowerPoints were disorganized, and she didn't always come to class prepared. Claims tests and quizzes will be 'big picture' concepts but are usually very detailed and the questions are designed to trick you. DON'T BUY THE TEXTBOOK! I never even opened it. Her detailed powerpoints were more helpful. She offers extra credit!

She will advise you to buy the packet of notes, though I felt they were too short hand and are not very helpful. Read the book and you'll be fine. Her lectures are not too inspiring, but she is a great professor , knowledgeable on the topic and willing to help her students.

Some questions on her exams were like she got them from mid air. The topics were never discussed in class.Quizzes were easy, exams were hard.It's not fair because she uses exams from prior quarters so more than half the class would memorize the answers to those questions minutes before the exam, while some of us struggled to get a B. But nice lady.

Her lectures can be very confusing to someone who is taking a intro Bio class. She moves through class material very quickly. She doesn't give much hw, but her tests are extremely difficult.

Dr.Russo is an excellent professor. Like any class, if you want an A attend lectures, ask questions,attend office hours, make sure your questions are answered. Read the text to supplement lecture. Don't be intimidated by any professor its your grade so care about it!

She's the hardest grader ever! The tests are short answers, matching, multiple choices, and 1 essay. The materials are not hard (if read book) but her lectures are everywhere and very hard to compile everything together with just lectures. You HAVE to read the book. Lectures are very brief but she expects DETAILED on the test. I hate her.

Don't let her constant twitching and detached personality intimidate u. She's very attentive when u ask her questions. MEMORIZE her lecture notes and u will get an A. Make sure u understand lectures, if you're confused during lect dont' let her get away w/saying "thats right", or "ok", "yes" b/c thats her answer to all ?s to get u off her back

A very good professor. Very clear, well outlined lectures. You must attend class if you want to do well. Uses powerepoint slides but just to supplement what she is talking about. Exams are difficult. She is very knowledgeable and a good professor, but I (and others) found it difficult to talk to her. She can be distant and not very engaging.

Review sheets are essential material for the exam--answer every question on that sheet and you should be well prepared. Lectures extensively off her notes, which were quite similar to the book. A psychiatrist, Dr. Russo seems somewhat distant but nice.
