Comment:

Noel is a very kind person and this could be a very good class. She is extremely harsh on grading and does not have clear criteria at all. She doesn't even follow her own standards half the time and doesn't grade everyone fairly. Do not take this class unless you really have to, you'll spend a lot of time getting extra credit.

Her study guides never match the material that will be on the test, a majority of your grade is a group project, never accessible outside of class, messed up grades multiple times, standing directly in front of the notes so you can't see them.

This woman ruined my semester if I'm being honest. She assigns a 35 minute group research presentation the first week of class that takes the entire semester to finish. Tests are easy if you study a decent amount, but when submitting papers she's an incredibly tough grader. If she doesn't like you, she'll make it known with her grading.

Shes tough but overall an amazing professor. Shes super sincere and is willing to work with you if you work with her. The class / its content was challenging but it makes you reflect on your work ethic! Definitely recommend for elem. education students.

Dr. Noel is an intensely intelligent professor. She has great background knowledge and passion for the subject. However, her class is very difficult and in order to pass with a pleasing grade, you must dedicate a lot of time. Additionally, there are extensive projects so met with her. She is helpful and considerate, but extremely difficult.

Dr. Noel is a great person. She is extremely intelligent and it shows. Sometimes she can be very unorganized and her powerpoint slides are very boring. She gives a very large group paper and 35 minute presentation that takes the entire semester of finish. She is a tough grader and it is mandatory to come to every class. She takes notes of every abs

Professor Noel is person that cares for all her students. She does assign readings but not too much work outside of that. There was one paper and a group presentation but nothing too bad. Highly recommend her!

Wasn't sure what to expect with this professor. She expects A LOT of her students, however, she is very high up in the ed. department. My major complaint is her tests. She provides a very vague study guide and you are basically thrown to the wolves. She's kind of mean sometimes and I am honestly scared of her which isn't a very good trait.

One of the most amazing teachers I had in grad school. Inspirational, wise, approachable. She expects you to do your work. Go figure. She has a quiet sense of humor and may not come off initially as very warm but I assure you - she is!

Dr. Noel is a good professor all in all, but she's a toughy. She's head chair of the education dept, so I assumed she would be tough, but there's a lot of reading & homeworks, but the homeworks are easy enough if you read. Otherwise, there's really no cheating in this class. Good professor, but she's a challenge.

Where do I even begin with this woman? Just looking at her infuriated me. While some of the course work was relevant to the class, there were too many little extra assignments that seemed like a total waste of time. She is a cold, static person. Um, can anyone say snotty-ass ****? Someone should take away her tenure. She doesn't deserve it. WHat a boring waste of time. She and Chorzempa should be fired. Seriously. We get assignements from them that are way harder and more work than students in other sections. Is that wrong or what? She doesn't care about anyone's feelings. Bad teacher.
