He is an amazing professor! Once you get past his Cypriot accent, he's really knows his stuff. He's very upbeat and happy every day and will go off into stories related to what you're learning. He tends to ramble about the same stories over and over again, but otherwise, his class is very enjoyable. SO SAD TO HAVE HIM LEAVING IN JANUARY.

I took Psych as a Natural Science with Dr. Anastasiou in the 2003/2004 school year and I ended up becoming a psych major after that. I also took Abnormal Psych with him and on one of the days we were supposed to take a test he ended up having a few people come in with some mental illnesses and had them talk to us and rescheduled the test.

I've had him for multiple classes, and I LOVE him! He tries to keep class interesting, is always willing to help, and is very understanding. I really enjoy his classes. The only bad thing is that a lot of people like him, so he can be hard to get ahold of because he tends to be really busy.

Dr. Anastasiou is a great guy, he is really helpful and very understanding. I would recommend his classes to anyone, psyc majors or not. He brings a multicultural aspect to the classroom. He is also not bad on the eyes. Overall, I have enjoyed all the classes I have taken with him.
