Worst proffessor I ever had at this school...and the only one too, might I add...this guy knows his stuff, but he doesnt know how to teach and is a rude piece of garbage. Very mean to the students and an all around p..k SUPER hard, smart studetns would get Ds and Fs on tests. DONT TAKE HIM, the worst of the worst.

(SUMMER)-Attendance is mandatory and you receive xtra pts on your exam for good attendance. Frequent quizzes but easy if you study, but exams are hard with tricky questions. You have to take notes 100% of the time on what he writes on the board and what he says. I thought he was a really nice guy but not for everyone.

Horrible teacher...knows what he is talking about, but is super rude, and makes fun of the students and makes them feel inferior...I was scared to ask questions in this class. Material is very difficult, and most people get Ds and F's...even people who always get As..I dont care how HARD you study. Do yourself a favor, dont take him

Took him in the summer: About 6 quizzes, 2 exams. Get on his good side and take good notes. He wants you to buy the book- though you don't necessarily need it; unless you dont understand something. Kinda hard- lots of studying. Overall, good class and good lecture. Must go to class

You're better off taking him in the summer. Attendance is mandatory, especially if you want some extra credit points. Beware when you ask a question because he'll call you STUPID in a nice way. He does go off on tangents sometimes, but he's ok. You have to write down everything he says if you want to pass with an A. Very arrogant at times.

He's really easy, the subject itself is interesting but he does have some mood swings from time to time. He gets defensive at times usually when he misunderstands a student. But he can be funny and alright. Quizzes are 10 minutes so be prepared!

This was the easiest class taken in the summer session. Attendence is mandatory but you get extra points towards the exams for good atendance. Write down EVERYTHING he says and then memorize EVERYTHING and you'll get an easy A. I studied for 15 minutes before every quiz and 45 minutes for each exam and I had almost perfect grades. Take this class.

Dr. Vassiliou is a wonderful instrutor. He is extremely helpful to those who wish to learn. His teaching style is a bit tough - but that fosters a better learning environment. He is an experienced and interesting teacher. I had no prior interest to in the course material until I enrolled in his class. Definitely better than Gates in my opinion.

took in summer. straight forward and to the point. no need to buy book or lab. no reading req. takes attendance. quizzes r fill in. exams r multi c. and fill in. sorta anal in terms of the fill-in answers but pretty easy nonetheless. EC 4 class participation. Rude at times only bc he's an old fart. go to class and take notes and u should do well.

Don't bother yourself with complaining about his arrogance in the evaluations,he reads & comments them in class next day.His grading policy depends on his mood:can take points out for a simple misspelling or give you a higher grade when you don't espect it at all.He leaves mixed feelings at the end.He definitely knows how to teach & tests are fair.

One of the most arrogant people. Has no problem humilating a student over stupid stuff -- like using the bathroom. Also is a very weird professor -- paranoid with female students. Work wise, he does a good job of prepping you for exams.
