Comment:

Ms. Adcock appreciates conscientiousness. She does her best to correct one's voice articulation. Understands students differ in acting experience, and one is not penalized for being less experienced. Ms Adcock is very supportive, non-competitive Class feels safe & non-threatening.

She DOES NOT lecture. She throws you into groups of 6-7 the first day and does nothing about it if one member does no work at all. ATTENDANCE IS VITAL, I had a doctors note, she still lowered my grade for missing class. Her grading is very harsh, she took off 2 pt for a single typo. DO NOT take this class, Shes also very criticizing of americans.

Not a good teacher for this class. Nice enough in person, but an extremely harsh grader. Especially given that this is more of an acting themed PE class. Very frustrating that no rubrics of how we were going to be scored for each assignment were provided and that the grades weren't posted on canvas. Take Pass/No Pass if you care about your GPA.

No lectures. You get into groups on your first day & are stuck with that group for the rest of the semester. You, as a group, do all the work on your own and have to create (and print!) a 'magazine' on the assigned topic, which she harshly grades out of 15 points. Quizzes on plays every few weeks. Must go see a PCC show & write a critique on it.

She is really strict about deadline. If you submit your work late, she will not accept anything. No test. The whole class is research only. 4 projects. 4 quiz. The whole class is out of 100 points. 1 synopsis, 10 pts. 1 critique, 10 pts. extra point is worth 10 pts, which is 10% boost for your grades. attendance is 15% of your grades.

She does not believe in a perfect grade, therefore you will never score a 1010 on anything she assigns no matter how good you do. First presentation expect an C no mater how good you do. Your only real way to get an A is to go to her extra credits, which cost money and take time out of your night. She grade you on how she likes you. DO NOT TAKEHER

Very proper professor. Lectures a bit, puts students into groups, prepare to make a presentation in 2-3 weeks. Pray your group is competent. She seems to favor Video Presentations over the traditional ones. Likes to be entertained (even if the jokes are awful). Other assignments include reading an old play and writing a 2 page synopsis for it.

Wonderful teacher. The class is comprised of 4 group presentations throughout the 16 week course. It is simple enough if you have the right people working WITH you. Research, compile, present. Only tip I can give is: Assign a group leader to keep things organized. If you are dedicated, it's an easy A.

This professor is really hard BEWARE!!! there are group presentations every three weeks as well as play synopsis. I regret taking this class there's a huge research paper that's five pages long. As mentioned below she did change her teaching style be prepared to do a lot rigorous research and present oral presentations!

She got A LOT harder this year! Lectures are interesting and delivered well. However, this is more like an easy B. I messed up the midterm because I did not read my play carefully. KNOW HOW TO SUMMARIZE! I also got my research paper topic and midterm play by drawing them out of an envelope. Cool accent, but she is actually NOT that attractive

Class isn't that difficult. Quite a bit of note taking/diagram drawings, fun lectures, group activities, and watching a short play. No textbook. Quizzes based on notes not too difficult. She's got a great sense of humor. Lots of FUN extra credit. The play's she offers for Ex Cred are entertaining. Midterm: read a play/test on it. Final: Cumulative

Best professor on the business.got an A for her class. Took the class on spring fri morning. Come to class on time, take down notes from her lecture, review the day before, aced all her quiz and mid term. Couple of quizes 5 if im nt mistaken, dropped the lowest. 1 Research paper. 1 mid and final exam.
