Be prepared to take lots of notes! No make up exams. You do have the option of extra credit and for a quiz to be dropped. Quizzes 50 points every two weeks (No midterms). Easy presentation at end of semester. Review notes alot ro prepare for quizzes, terms and diagrams

Excellent teacher! Notes very organized, even though she seems to cover a lot in a short period of time. She gives everything that you need to know for tests in notes! I recommend making study sheets of specimens and getting a whiteboard to practice writing scientific names! Very interesting material! Lots of quizzes but they help for big exams!

Lots of material, but she explains it very well. All lecture notes are given off of a slide show projection. Unless you have a strong writing hand, I recommend a laptop to write all her notes down. -- Her tests are challenging because of the complexity of her multiple choice questions. Just make sure you know it and you'll do fine. Study study!

this teacher teaches lecture by powerpoint and just reads off from it...make sure you copy all the notes down. powerpoint lecture will be on the exams, do not need textbooks. FYI, she goes quickly in lecture, its hard to get everything written or typed down.

the power points where so LONG at first she went EXTRAMLY FAST then later in the term she slowed down a little but class was boring. All you did was copy notes. Hated the tests. you never knew what was going to be on there you had to study EVERYTHING!

Very good teacher. Very clear and structured during lecture. Easy to get help from during lab. Knows her stuff, and is friendly. Easily one of the best teachers at the Biology department.
