Comment:

She's a great prof, but her teaching style was difficult to get used to. She goes fairly fast, so sometimes it was difficult to keep up. Dr. Yanik is a pretty tough grader, too. The only grades in the class are the tests and quizzes, so beware and study. She also likes to throw curves on quizzes and tests that are questions you've never seen.

Comment:

She is a good person but not the easiest professor when it comes to teaching. Her teaching style did not help me learn so I struggled in the class. If you don't get her teaching style, the class becomes much harder. She writes small on the board and stands in front of what she is writing and just mumbles as she writes.

Comment:

She is one of the better teachers available, if you can take her, do take her classes. Her style shows a great understanding of both mathematics and others lack of understanding of mathematics. She works hard to stress a point, and generally teaches it fairly well. She is by far the hardest working teacher in the Math-CS-Econ Department.

Very good teacher! Challenging class, but she is passionate about what she does. Very intelligent.
