Comment:

Me personally, the instructor is awesome. She has always helped me and I haven't had a problem with her ever however, IF you cannot: devote a large amount of time to this class OR if you have a busy life schedule OR if you do not grasp things quickly, DO NOT take this course online, you will struggle. I personally recommend it taken at the campus.

Comment:

One of my least favorite Professors. Actually argued with me over a question on a test that was extremely leading and devoid of common sense when pertaining to address. Questions don't always follow from the book which could affect your grade negatively and may require research and more time outside of the book. Lots of work for just 3 credits.

All classwork was done with the book. No lectures or how to's from her. She does provide the templates for the homework - but if the template is incorrect you should go by what the book says instead. She will let you redo things if you get them wrong. Make sure you read the entire chapter, intro and all to make tests easier. Y

If you have a question it may take some extra time waiting on a reply. She grades the homework and discussions either a 100 or 0. Tests are done on the Sam . com website and there is a ton of homework in this Microsoft Word 2013 class. Remember that, a ton of homework.

Easy A. Assignments, discussions, and unit tests. Follow the instructions in the book to make the excel files and get 100%. Do the discussions and get 100%. The test questions are statements straight out of the book (get an ebook so you can search fast). Plus I learned a lot about excel. When in doubt, add your name to the center of the footer.

Do not recommend to take this course online. Although this professor responds to my emails and attempts to respond to questions, I was unable to understand many concepts. The online tool CengageBrain used is useless for learning. Tests questions (on BB) were confusing and vague. Workbook & text book contradict each other in explaining concepts.

Comment:

Microsoft Office class, which covers Word, Excel, Access,and PowerPoint. The homework in this class is difficult, but gives you multiple chances to redo the work (15% of your grade) So, if you learn how to do the exercises correctly, you should be better prepared for the exams for each unit.

This class (Keyboarding and Document and Processing 1) is pretty simple as long as you keep up with your work. There is a great deal of work every week(typing lessons). There are also four exams (mid term, final exam, and two progress exams). Overall, easy class with a nice professor.

Sends back work over and over. If you do not fix it, it is counted as incomplete. Very nitpicky! Be prepared to get your work sent back to you time and time again. That is with ALL of the classes she teaches and I am not the only one who has said this by far!

Gives WAY TOO MUCH busy work. Feels like I was back in high school again. Class is pointless- reading straight from boring powerpoints and reading answers from busy work homework. Also, responds to questions about assigments after they are due.

Very unorganized. Took her online course and she made very minimal(or non at all) to connect with students. Her directions were unclear and if it had not been for the discussion boards students would have most likely failed. Students were answering questions she should have been answering. Syllabus had the wrong year and she didnt care to fix it.
