Comment:

Great professor teaching a difficult subject. He's got a sense of humor that injects fun into the class, but seems to go over the head of younger students. Previous tests are online and very helpful. The book is not required to pass his class. I did not open it other than for the formula card which he provides for tests anyway.

This teacher knew his stuff, but he was very difficult. He went too fast with the chapters and didn't explain his reasoning. The only benefit was he gave 10pts for never missing class up until the test date.

A great teacher I have taken "this" class 4 times and i have not yet found a teacher who could teach me in a way to get the job done. He is extreamly organized and clear. Follow him and you'll ace the class no doubt. If I can get an A anybody could!

Great instructor. I am not a math person but he taught me to see it as a business tool. He uses his own material, tests available for practice. Learned so much now I am bored in QM301 at Walsh. LOT of homework in 4 1/2 week summer class was tough. You must do homework to master concepts. Fair, works with you when u r stuck! Highly recommend him.

I had a hard time with this professor. There were times in class while teaching he would quickly go through things without explaining them clearly. There were also times i would ask him questions and he would rush through them and i still would have a hard time grasping the concept.

Professor Hamilton is an excellent teacher. However the subject is hard. He does supply you with excellent notes and the library has previous test available so there are no surprises. Test one and two seem to be the hardest and if you do poorly on one test hang in there are plenty of chances to improve your grade. He does offer points for attendanc

Professor Hamilton is a fair he provides you with his own hand outs do not buy the book. I took this class in the Summer 09 a lot of work. Study the handouts he goes over in class plus the exam at the learning center. Attendance is extremely IMPORTANT! he gives 10pts and his exam is EASY compare to the FINAL! DO NOT give up if you fail 1st exam

This class was hard and time comsuming but he will help you if you ask. He is more than willing to help the people who are trying. I actually stayed for both classes offer on the same night. Write the notes the first class and stay for the second to listen again. This helped alot. Use the prior tests...they are a helpful. I got a B.

Great Professor, class was very well organized and he did a good job presenting the material. I wouldn't bother getting the book, just follow his handouts that you get during the first class. Go to class everyday and get 10 points on the next exam, study off the old exams, you should get an A.

He's so cute! I loved this guy! Awesome awesome teacher! He's a hilarious guy. Very intelligent. Class is pretty hard. You definitely have to dedicate lots of time if you're planning on passing. Take it w. Hamilton.. He's the best!

Hamilton is a very fair professor. Lets face it Stats is a very hard subject but he does give a 10 pt grade increse if you make it to every class per exam (attendance resets for each exam) You can get copies of all his previous exams at the library (which are completly identical for each semster). I would defiently recommend Hamilton

I hate math and I did really good in this class. He's very clear although boring at times. All exams are available to check out so you can study off them and the actual exams are the exact same layout as the ones you can look at before, so use those and you will be fine! You don't really need the book unless you use it for extra practice

I guess I'm also in the minority. Took this teacher twice - dropped the second time before I could fail again. Not very helpful at all, tests are very hard, requires students to memorize and draw formulas.

He is probably the best math teacher I have ever had. Provides all of his own notes, you don't even need the book. Goes over everything VERY clearly and is always willing to answer questions so don't hesitate. Also provides practice exams in the learning center. Take advantage of all of the extra opportunities he gives you to do well.

took the class in 6 weeks. So fast but learned everyting becasue he is such a great teacher. Always wears a polo even in winter. Final exam is hard but he lets you make copies of his previous tests for studyguides. Can ask any questions, uses examples.
