Comment:
Spends too much class time being philosophical about labour problems and not enough time actually teaching how labour law works. Difficult to know what is important as he sometimes breezes over major cases but will later dwell on a single point. Would be great for a paper course but is ineffective in this class. Be ready to figure it out yourself.

Spends his lectures being very philosophical instead of actually teaching the material we needed to know. Doesn't answer student's questions clearly. The supplementary textbook (Kent Roach) is probably the only reason I passed. Thank god it was an open book exam. NEVER taking another course with him again, feeling shared by classmates.

Comment:
Most people find his notes and lectures to be hard to follow. I agree, but if you go to all of them, pay attention and make an effort to understand and write down the notes in your own comprehensible way, it is not a hard course. The exams are fair and are quite similar to the assignments.

Comment:
I'm sure Labour Law is the worst course in law school you can possibly take. It's not useful; it's boring; and the prof makes it way more detailed and confusing than it has to be. The readings are outrageous! Everyone's complaining!

Brilliant! Warning - he will work you like a dog with a smile on his face. If you are interested in labour law - you need to be taught by him.
