Bruce Gray is really a great guy, he does get off topic but his stories are interesting and you can tell he has a passion for his field, he is an easy grader and his exams are open book, very easy class

Comment:

Bruce really knows his stuff and has a lot of experiences under his belt but it's really hard to understand the connections he makes between theory and his experiences. His notes are incomprehensible and you really need to be in class and pay attention or else you have no idea what he's talking about. Exams are easy though.

This professor is a fair man he does have a stutter and does get off track on lecture but he sure knows his stuff. i was glued to every lecture he is very passionate about the subject and very smart 2 open book exams and 1 paper. I enjoyed his class very much

Overall good prof. To have a good grade, you must be present, listen and do the readings. His approach is "out of the box" and is a breath of fresh air from text book learning. He can be unorganized with his lectures, but he makes it clear what is important to know. I learnt lots and I recommend him for those who want to learn.

AVOID!!!!!!!! I HAD TO DROP THE CLASS!!!! VERY MONOTONE, RUDE AND YOU CANT ASK QUESTIONS, HE GETS VERY MAD, HIS ASSIGNMENTS ARE SO HARD THEY ARE NOT DETAILED... DOES NOT RESPOND TO YOUR EMAILS, HE HAS TO RETIRE WELL IN HIS 70'S AND HES SOOOOOO MEAN THE CLASS STARTED WITH 31 WHEN I DROPPED THIS WEEK 19 REMAIN!

AVOID! I am a fourth year student, this is by far the most difficult to understand, confusing, unfair grader and hard to approach teacher I have ever had! 2 Case Studies (15% each), 1 Research Paper (30%), 1 final exam (30%) and a participation grade that is given in the form of an exam! (10%). If you don't attend, good luck...sit in the front!

Bruce is a great prof. He is kind, very funny and interesting! Class attendance is not manditory but I recommend going because most of his assignments and exams are based on things he says in class. He is also very approchable and has a passion for what he teaches !

Bruce, is good teacher. His class was fun, interesting, however, he did not really teach me anything of importance. His grading is very unclear and not always fair. Overal, I would still take a class with him.

Bruce is a very interesting teacher. He has a passion for adolescence and it shows when he teaches the class. A little confusing and not quite specific on his grading scheme but overall he is a great prof.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! He continuously says he's ADD and never remembers what he said right after saying it. He shouldn't be teaching. His stories are funny and has been working with youth for a long time but he should be teaching the class to young hopefuls!

Okay.....I never officially ended up staying in this course, because I can barely stay focused on this guy, when he teaches. He mumbles and stammers WAY TOO MUCH! if you have problems keeping focused with professors, dont take a class with this professor hes way too distracting!!
